interdasting
as i understand it, it would have to have provenance behind it to be worth anything i.e. be proven to have been presented to a winner and sold with consent(obviously not stolen). If it doesn't say that on the description(not read it) it's scrap metal. Sergio would seem to be most likely if it is legit but who knows, any of them might have fallen on hard times (maybe not arnold)

I would like to rule out
1)Columbo, he would have his other items listed as Italian boxing trophies
2)Arnold - he would also be selling things like Terminator sunnies.
3)Bannout - he would have lebanese items for sale
4)Yates - his other items would be old gym equipment as he upgrades temple gyms
5)Sergio - He would have south american stuff for sale.
IMO its most likely to be Jay selling off his 2007 win which should have gone to Victor
OR Heath selling his 2012 win which should have gone Kai's way.TEAM WOLF + TEAM KAI +TEAM CEDRIC + TEAM ROMGLE - TEAM RAMY - TEAM FAIR JUDGING

"98,5% Positive feedback" over hundreds of feedbacks
seller seem legit.
maybe they produced several sandow and this one is just an "extra" one that was never won by anyone ?
the weird thing is that i dont see any ex-olympia winner broke to the point that they have to sell the trophy. i mean, every former mr olympia seems to be doing ok financialy.
and Sergio Oliva's family would have to be srsly broke to give up on this lol

this is ridiculous
you can't sell, for example, an FA cup winners medal, or a superbowl ring, without provenance. I've now read the link and he is answering NO questions. If you needed the money from selling it, you are only going to get it by confirming it is yours, and that it is not stolen or fake.
its quite possible someone needs the money, and I would think it could get 20k, or more, but only if the buyer knows whose it is

are yall reading the link that got posted?
http://www.physiquebodywareusa.com/p...asp?Sku=Sandow
"Such a Deal
The seller, an old time Hollywood actor and TV executive in Burbank, CA acquired this Sandow many years ago from a well known pro bodybuilder down on his luck back in the 80’s, maybe even an Olympia winner? Sworn to secrecy, this bodybuilder’s identity still remains anonymous 'till this day, which only adds more mystery and intrigue to this legendary work of art. Who could have been so down & out back in the day that he'd part with such a prize? Was it Frank Zane? Was it Franco Columbo? Maybe it was Chris Dickerson, Samir Bannout or Lee Haney? Arnold did not need the money, he had all that Conan cash! Who really knows for sure. "
I know this was for the physique bodyware site, not sure about ebay listing.
and
"SIDE NOTE: During 1979-1980 Joe Weider did have ads in Muscle & Fitness offering Sandow's for sale at $1000.00 ea. The same Sandow Trophy he gave to the Mr. Olympia winners! Our Sandow Trophy is NOT for sale at this time! It may be for sale later so check back. "
someone put one in storage and made a deal with a popular ebay seller to make 19k profit?

The one sold in the magazine years ago looks different. Someone posted one of those awhile ago.
