wtf how is it possible that none knows where it is. airplanes are monitored 24/7 all the time. hell they even know when someone uses the coffee maker and flushes the toilet on modern aircraft. there are so many ways that they track aircraft especially commercial airlines that this makes no sense.

Good luck surviving an airplane crash. Every year atleast 2-3 airplanes crash. Please compare apples with apples. Dont give me "oh its the safest compared to traveling by a car". Flying is **** because you have no control over anything. Your life depends on some fat engineers that look after the airplane and a sleepy lazy pilot who is sick of his job

Edited OP. Yeah the planes are supposed to squawk their locations at all times. FlightAware link shows last position as somewhere in the northern part of Malaysia

RIP to those lost and prayers to families.
CNN reporting that it was over water at contact loss.
According to flight tracker it was at 35,000feet.
No chance of any survivors.

You have a 96% chance of surviving an airplane crash, FYI.
You have the illusion of safer control in a car, I'll give you, being entirely in someone else's hands is scarier, but I'm sorry, what constitutes the most dangerous mode of transportation has nothing to do with your feelz.Last edited by Penile_Dementia; 03-07-2014 at 05:17 PM.
