sorry to hear that brah.
You really shouldn't be begging her to stay with you though. You have to now accept that the relationship is over and it is time to move on. Go your separate ways and don't go back, ever.
One day you'll hopefully look back and realise it was all for the best. You may not see that now, but in time you will.
Time is the greatest of all healers. GL.

Listen to everyone telling you to lawyer up. If she is the bread winner, she should be paying you child support for the 1 kid you have together. You may not want to get a job until those issues are resolved.

IMO it was a bad decision economically and career wise to leave his job, if he had said, "NO i'm going to continue working, and just as you recieved a promotion i am working hard to get a promotion aswell" i bet panties would have gotten wet. OP could have even looked for other jobs, that pay more, while working.
Sad thing about married brahs and brahs in long term relationships, is that you get too comfortable, and fall into that perception that you dont have to live up to expectations of attraction for opposite sex, and start focusing on long term plans like getting money together to get that dream house etc, and stop going to gym and next thing you know she is banging hector coz he has a six pack. The'll never get huge arms with crossfit! ~ Clive

Its a typical story in this day and age OP, sad to say
Regardless if you were a good husband, a nice guy, whatever, the moment she became the money earner and you were the stay at home dad is when this relationship went down hill.
Its a sad fact that women are very shallow and do not build the same emotional attachments to relationships as men, women will always be the ones to change in a long term steady relationship, the only time its the women who get fukced over is when the relationship isn't established yet and the guy is just fukcin her for the sake of it, any long term committed relationship it is always the woman who "needs some time" or some fukcing sorry excuse.
best advice is to accept it head on, dont beg or plea or cry. You do not need her. She is a woman who is not sticking by you. Why would you beg for a woman like that. Take the opportunity to focus on you and go full fukcin beast mode. time to step up to the plate for the sake of your son.Trap God

I finally give in and told her that i still felt uncomfortable for that very reason that she would probably end up after a while losing respect for me.

well it looks like you guys didn't exactly get along as well as you're making it look. That is, if she actually had to vent her frustration (presumably about you) to her friend. Either something was really wrong or she just has some kind of a borderline personality. lol

I'm saying this as a bro who wants the best for you.
I thought this was a troll thread after I seen home dad part, I deeply wished it was the case, but judging replies....damn. You aren't a real man anymore. What the fuk were you thinking? You are really pathetic for what you have done.
Divorce her
take your kid
focus on nothing but getting rich and hitting the plates hard
if you don't do this, enjoy living the rest of your life as piece of ****, or even end up being a cuckold. dead srs.
Don't buy into this alimony ****, most people are doing it here for reverse roles, but you will always live as non real man who needs money from his ex-wife to support his kid. Idgaf how much you milk from her.Any post I make should not be taken seriously.
