Already there. I don't think I am even close to fattest on the misc anymore. But have only the misc to thank for that
that'd be nice, but after going so long without a loss, I will be happy with any downward trend come weigh in day
We both got this! Been following your journey and am impressed with what you are accomplishing. Very inspiring for me.
That is honestly the first i've heard that one, but thanks!
Can't stop now. My life has improved to much to not to want to see this through
I believe i've seen that before, that would be very cool. If allowed perhaps I canuse it to support my Quest bar addiction. I am not 100% sure but I think the very generous monthly quest bar allowance has finally ceased.(392.4 lbs pounds lost so far)

So once down to your goal, what do you plan on doing? And how about the extra skin, any plans for that if it doesn't sort itself out?

I am laying the foundation for that now. I am trying to get myself involved in more regular physical activities that are fun and that I can use to maintain my weight loss. Racquetball, bowling, cycling, I would like to try tennis in the spring. These are the kind of things that will keep me burning more calories than I put in even on days I have trouble finding motivation to lift. Of course I will still lift after reaching my goal, and the gym will always be a big part of my life and a second home. Expanding my nutritional rotation and palette will also help keep the weight off
As for skin, I will be getting skin surgery when I am closer to my goal(392.4 lbs pounds lost so far)

thanks guys!
Heya! glad to seee you again, thanks bud
I was thinking about that and would love to be able to do that this year, but I am not sure it will be possible this summer. I did a bit of research for people my height who were too fat to ride certain rides. This is one such post
"I am 6'1 295 pounds and i was unable to fit on the Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, Raptor, Wicked Twister, and The Second row of the first car of the red train on the magnum.
I lost 57 pounds for this trip and was still unable to ride the top thrill dragster, hopefully this summer i'll be thin enough!"
So from this post I gather that 6'1 and 238 lbs would still be too fat to ride the top thrill dragster. So I will need to be around 230 or less if I want to truly have made it by the time I go.
That would mean a loss of 111 lbs by summer, or 13.87 lbs lost each month till august. It may be possible but highly unlikely.(392.4 lbs pounds lost so far)

I don't believe that for one second, 238lbs is far too small to not fit on rides. I was 225 at the same height one year ago and was not even close to not being able to ride. You see hundreds of people bigger than that getting on them all the time. Maybe they meant 295lbs was after losing the 57lbs.
Also I've just noticed that progress photo and it shocked me how well you carry your weight, you don't look around 350 in that photo, more like 300 i'd say, so perhaps a lot of weight is now in excess skin?

Unfortunately yes we've been getting some snow but the polar weather has got hard. It was -21 yesterday with the wind chill and is supposed to be similar today.
It's certainly possible, I will look more into it as I drop the lbs. but the entire point of the cedar point trip for me is to make up for all the depressing times I went where I couldn't fit on rides I wanted to go on, so I definitely want to be sure.
Thanks m8
Yeah, unfortunately. I was naive to believe id be able to continue in this weather easily. I tried getting a facemask, gloves, etc but the sweat just made things too uncomfortable. Then I had mentioned attempting to ride in the winter to my dr and he thought it was a bad idea due to the high risk of injury for someone my size if I were to slide on a patch of ice or something.
Just going to stick to the gym till spring, then go hard with the cycling again(392.4 lbs pounds lost so far)

Racquetball is seriously the only cardio intensive sport I've ever enjoyed. I feel like a ****ing cat trying to track the ball and am too engrossed to notice how winded I am. Glad you got dat itch.
Though some old men I've played that wear the full gear and short-shorts seem to hardly move and still whip my ass.Lifts:
Squat: 460x1
Bench: 400x1
Deadlift: 575x1
OHP: 250x2
Weight: 180 lbs.
Don't have heroes; look up to no one. Because as long as someone's leading the way, the best you'll ever be is second.

So true. I have that same feeling, the cat tacking a ball is a great analogy. I seem to have literally limitless energy when it comes to racquetball. I could probably play until my body just failed. Also agree with the good players hardly needing to move. Racquetball is all about positioning and the better you are the better you are positioned so the less you have to run to the ball. Thankfully, I am terrible at it, so need to run constantly.
appreciate it, I shall
heh, thanks
not a bad idea. I think I am getting that coat this week and then I will be able to do that
Gotta say, it feels far off right about now. It has been below zero all this week. Really dreary around here right now(392.4 lbs pounds lost so far)

This weather is brutal. I bought some YakTrax and the heaviest gloves I could last year and it's still not enough once it gets in the single digits. My fingers were freezing when I tried to run and when I made it back home they were red and swollen and it had only been about 10 minutes.
I feel your pain. Painted a bedroom today because I'm bored and stuck inside, might do P90X plyometics later. =\** Eternal Jimmies Crew **
