Wetty, I recently leveled up to 2XL and can buy my clothes in normal stores for the first time since I was 12, being a lower BMI than me I'm sure you have too. I can't go to Meijers without walking through the clothing section, you got the same deal?

That is excellent! congratz man! I can fit in 2xl as long as the shirt is long enough. My size is 2x but the problem is my loose skin pannus hangs down lower than most 2x shirts are tall, so it sticks out. So I still lean towards 3xl just for the length, even though its too baggy

I wear my parts around my belly button, it doesn't look great, but it's better than having that skinny waist/beer gut for miles look a lot of fat people have. Guy I work with has this look going on, typical 400lb beer gut tucked into a shirt held closed by his belt, the shirt actually distends below his fly, there's no hiding that. A lot of pants in our size are designed for this too, with room for the hanging pannus.

WettyB, seems to me you've said many times that a key to your success is consistency. Binging does not support consistency.
Whatever you have to do to maintain consistency, even if your losses become incrementally less is in your best interest.
On another note, I,too, have taken up cycling. Rode my dad's old steel road bike 180 miles to Austin, TX, during the Houston MS 150. One of the most physically demanding experiences of my life.

I would love to be able to do a ride like that one day. My longest thus far is 28 miles. Hoping to work up to a small marathon
may invest in some kind of girdle specifically for it, I wear the pants around the pannus but just hate how it looks and feels(392.4 lbs pounds lost so far)

Hey, I come here every few months to check how far you've gotten and each time I'm amazed at the progress you made. But, a man your size shouldn't be eating 1200 kcal for a prolonged period of time for sure. I don't know if this has been discussed or contemplated before, but why don't you get a professional coach? Someone who does this for a living, who knows how to manipulate macros and is able to get you to keep shedding the pounds at the highert caloric intake possible?
Someone like John Otis Hollywood for example. Or from 3DMJ? I'm sure a lot of people could help you here but it's better to stick with just one person who knows what they're doing.

To OP
I noticed you quoted something I said when you made your first post about this and I have not checked back in a long time.
I am in fact the one who told you to "roll over and suffocate" at the very beginning and I would like to truthefully apologize to you for having said that. I am an ass hole for it and I legitimately feel bad for saying it. Because since you quoted it, I know it got to you in some way. So I am sorry.
So if you may feel the need to neg me I deserve it. But keep up the work you made an unbelievable change. Would buy you drink in real life.LSx F-Body crew

Well hai there.
Recipe:
1 pack chicken thighs (bones okay--actually preferred)
1 can canellini beans
I can pinto beans
garlic
salt and pepper
lemon
Dijon mustard
If you want to be fancy, add some capers with their brine
--------
In a bowl: combine drained beans, salt and pepper, garlic and some olive oil and capers if you want....if you don't have capers but want a little saltiness, add some sliced olives. If the mixure seems dry, add some water or chicken stock
Put mixture in bottom of pan
Put down sliced lemon wedges
Place chicken thighs (salt and peppered and slathered with dijon mustard) on the lemon wedges.
Bake at 425 degrees for about 35 minutes or until chicken isn't pink.
Obviously, you guys who can't eat carbs can leave out the beans...

Thanks! I forgot to mention you should put some water or chicken stock in the pan--it will get too dry. You can also add some Italian spices to the bean mixture (like oregano and basil). I threw some grape tomatoes in it when I made it last night bc I they were starting to go bad.

Also, if you live next to a Korean grocery store - check out some recipes : http://www.maangchi.com/
Lots of fish, vegetables, noodles - most recipes are fairly low calorie. I've made several so far, and they're all real good. (Biased because I lived in Korea for a while, but the food is still good!)
