Really depends on what type of rewards you're after. I have a Capitol One something or other. I get 1.75 airline miles fore very $1 spent. I get about 1 'free' plane ticket a year.

"Be curious and never give up, however difficult things might seem. Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do, and succeed at. It matters that you don't just give up." -Stephen Hawking

Have never had a credit card crew checking in.
Have never needed a credit card and I dont ever want one. My credit score is great without onePeace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

Chase Freedom or AmEx Platinum. Freedom gives you cash rewards and has low interest while the AmEx Platinum gives you lounge access pretty much everywhere, top notch concierge service, and probably the best Amazon credit transfer out there. The only kicker with AmEx is that you have to pay your balance in full every month. I have both and use the Freedom when I want credit and the Platinum when I need to wait a paycheck before buying something.

You're missing out on free money for no reason. I have never paid a cent of interest on my credit card and have gotten thousands in rewards and cashback programs.
And OP you wont be able to just get the best cc for your first card. Very few will approve you with no credit or stable income. My first was the Discover IT and its a pretty solid card that you should be approved for as it is targeted at students.I am about that life Jerrel

I think whoever doesn't have a credit card is a colossal moron.
Brb get cash back, rewards, increase/improve credit, etc, etc by just using a card. Brb just pay off what you use and you will not pay any interest. Like how stupid do you have to be not to use a credit card if you're financially responsible?

I have an Amex Gold and Chase Freedom.
Chase Freedom is pretty GOAT, 5% cash back on different categories every few months. Then 1% cash back on everything else. No annual fee and pretty high limit.
Amex Gold, I don't know I just have it but the sign up bonus was 50k points..:Ace50 Crew:.
