It's difficult trying to put your deepest thoughts into words, so bare with me...
Sometimes I think to myself, we're all just phucking animals. We like to think we're somehow different because we've got a much larger brain which allows us to experience the best and worst in life. Would life be better as a lion? A lion wouldn't be able to experience anything as complex as love, but at the same time have you ever seen a depressed lion? Chit's cray cray.
Sometimes I think to myself, man, there's going to come a point in time where humans are obsolete. What are we working towards? At this rate it looks like we're working towards a future that will belong to robots. Scares the chit out of me.
Sometimes I try to grasp the concept of the beginning of time. Chit's impossible.
Sometimes I think to myself, will the internet become the next life form on earth when it becomes self aware?
Sometimes I think to myself, every single person that you see on the street is as complex as you are. They all have as many dreams, hopes, desires, fears. They all have a similar number of friends, a similar number of enemies, a similar number of memories and experiences.

I've seen a lot of people Ashley. I've seen enough to know that almost everyone is deluded when it comes to love. They say over and over again that they love each other but you can't see that...in their eyes, in the way they turn to see each other and then their eyes don't light up, in the way they don't rush to hug each other.
I've never seen anything like you and me, Ashley.
I know that if we never talked again, life would go back to normal eventually. I'd feel horrible for a while but things would go back to normal. But I don't want normal.
I want stupid. Stupid in love. Monumental. Passionate. I want you, Ashley...and maybe we can be apart, everything would go on just the same. Life would go on and we'd eventually have new things and new people to care about. But every once in a while the ****tiest thought in the world will make an appearance in our mind: what could have been. I don't want to live like that Ashley. I don't want to live like that, without ever knowing what more could have happened between us. There's simply so much left.
I want that with you. I honestly could not see that with anyone else.*WI Misc Crew*

Have had this exact thought many times. It's mind blowing how the guy behind you in the que who you will never see again has all the afore mentioned things. Also, his view on the world may be completely different to you in terms of how he views and perceives things based on his own life experiences.

I think human consciousness is a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self-aware. Nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself. We are creatures that should not exist by natural law. We are things that labor under the illusion of having a self. A secretion of sensory experience and feeling, programmed with total assurance that we are each somebody. When in fact, everybody's nobody. I think the honorable thing for our species to do is deny our programming, stop reproducing, walk hand-in-hand into extinction, one last midnight, brothers and sisters opting out of a raw deal.

I wonder what happens to us when we die.
The idea of ceasing existence just scares me.
What happens to our thoughts? Our memories?
Is it a dream?
Do we really have an afterlife?
Are we reborn again?
Will humans master longevity if not immortality? Brb looking for the fountain of youth.* LEO

My deepest thought I was tripping on acid and had this epiphany that everything is basically some form of energy, and we are just matter vibrating on different frequencys.. And that "consciousness" is just matter on a certain vibration... So basically everyone/ thing in the world is the same exact thing vibrating in a different pattern and it made me feel lonely as fuk.. Like almost what a god would feel like, was mind blowing.. Terrible explanation of what i felt lol, oh well.

One time I was peering out the window in some backwoods country town as I drove through it, and had the following thought.
Even though the particular spot that I looked at looked junky, run down, and meaningless...it probably has some extraordinary significance to SOMEONE.
Maybe that's where a dude proposed to his wife, or some teen had his first kiss, or someone almost died in a car wreck but was miraculously saved.
When THEY see that spot, they are filled with wondrous memories and amazing euphoric feelings.
When I looked at it, I thought how crappy it looked, and how miserable and meaningless the spot was.
Ever since then...whenever I have those thoughts about some place, I remember this thought and usually feel a lot better. I'll even try to imagine what amazing things could have happened there.Blog: http://1nerd6cities1year.tumblr.com
