    anabolic diet questions

So tomorrow I'm starting Dr. di Pasquale's Anabolic Diet and I've some few questions to ask (don't know if this belongs to the keto section since I did some reading and some people say it's not a keto diet. So I dunno). Currently I'm on a "normal"/IIFYM 2000 calorie diet (coming from a peak of 3000 calories back in December, current weight is around 165lbs and a lot of BF); in other words high carb/high protein/low-moderate fat.

    1. It says in the book I should change up my calories every so often. For example during the weekends I could increase my cals. Can I just keep my 2000-calories the whole week through, and increase/decrease/maintain depending on changes ? I don't wanna make things complicated if it's not really necessary

    2. di Pasquale lists a lot of supplements to use, i hope they're not all necessary as well ? i just have fish oil, fibre, mutivitamins, hydroxycut and protein powder. i'm not too sold on buying the rest of his prescriptions/formulae

    3. if i'm getting this right, basically i go high fat/high protein/low or no carbs on weekdays, then high carbs/low protein/low-moderate fat on weekends amirite ? Here's where i'm a little confused : why do i have to lower my protein intake on weekends (10-15%) ? I always thought protein is the one thing that should always be constantly kept high no matter what (and i also train on saturdays)

i'm sure i have other questions about this, but will leave with these for the moment. thanks in advance hope anyone can answer

btw : so my diet looks like this 2000 calories, 25g carbs, 133g fat, 175g protein. of course changing this as needed on weekends

Ignore the fad diet, read the stickies at the top of this forum. Calculate your calorie and macro/micro-nutrient needs than eat to reach your goals (deficit to lose weight, surplus to gain).
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
    1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

My suggestion: avoid absurd diets that are designed to sell silly supplements regardless of the harm done to you.
