You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Ha these plates came painted blue. Whats strange is I had a deep dish plate that had this same exact color blue on it. I was thinking maybe York did it or something? Here are other pics I took of the plates too:
You can see the same exact blue under the black paint when I started to wire wheel this deep:

No judgment. It's not like they're lavender.

Bumped for some vintage Berg Hantel bumpers.

Because you asked so nicely
Last friday I went to pick up a set of a USSR barbell (the one with the ribbed sleeves), weight discs (2x 25 20 15 10 5 2.5 and 1.25kg), racks and collars.
See this topic for the same bar: forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159309481
Price was 280 euros. That's like 1.75 €/kg and bar and racks for free. Not too bad if you know that those discs sometimes go for 2€/kg (just because really decent plates, not for any historic value whatsoever). + I already had 8x 25kg of those discs, so that would make a nice set.
+ I was looking for a weightlifting bar some time, since I'm doing more snatches and c&j's lately.
See pics 1-3 for the set. The bench wasn't included in the deal (but was for sale. But I already have a bench).
Once I got there (1 hour drive), I noticed it had 55mm sleeves. FML, was what I thought.
Than I saw the bar and discs from the other set the seller had (but didn't looked interesting).
Managed to buy (for the same 280 euros) 165kg of rubber plates, a barbell, 2.5kg collars and 2 mini weight racks.
Why? Because 2 of the discs were 20kg Berg bumpers and the bar was a Berg as well.
Seller (60y old) told me he bought the bar when he was 19 from a weightliftingclub in Germany.
Pics of the discs:Last edited by vsral; 05-04-2015 at 01:49 PM.

And last, but less interesting: 2x25kg and 2x20kg I bought for 80 euros.
Normal second hand prices range from 1.2 € (iron) tot 1.8 or even 2 €/kg for decent rubber plates
The 2 panatta's have a really rough surface and are smaller than 45cm diameter.
The 2 25'ers are a few mm's larger than 45cm. On the back you can see the machining.
Couldn't find a year on any of the plates.

Just picked these up a couple weeks ago. I think muscledriverusa goofed on the price of these. All Elite bumpers were supposed to be 10% off, but the 140kg set in black and white was marked down from $940 to like $630. Now I just need to at least find some 1.25, 2.5, and 5 kg plates, plus a few pairs of 20-25kg plates. I'm hoping to come across some York's, but it's extremely rare than I see them pop up on craigslist.

Those are sick.
I just saw on Brett Gibbs' Instagram a video of him deadlifting with Weider 25kg plates. I've seen the cheap Weider plates on Craigslist, but I've never seen a 25kg plate. Is this something they only produced internationally?

Nothing special with the Weider Int'l set. There should be a pair of. 15 Kg plates as well.

Came across this & a few other DP plates.
I believe they were all KG, but I don't recall.
There weren't enough for me to go out of my way for, but it's nice to know some people want these.Crews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59
