Just shave it off boyos. Move on with your life. It's scary to read some of these posts about how much time, effort, health risk, and money you guys fork over for something that literally means nothing. All it does is fukk you up mentally and possibly physically.
Take some advice from someone that went through this process for a short time. Move on.

I’ve always put off getting on fin due to the horror stories, but apparently one of my good friends is on it. He just casually mentions he is on this pill to stop his hair from falling out. Been on it for years with 0 sides.

really not sure if i should start fin 0.5mg a day.
I have the pills ready. My right temple is receded , left is okay, hairlne is thinning and so is crown but not at the point its noticble. My dad was noticably bading at 27 and i'm 25. i know my hair will get worse i wwant to maintain what i have should i start?

You can get all of these supplemented nutrients and absorb them better if you just eat whole foods. Bone broth, mushrooms, shellfish, small amounts of seaweed + brazil nuts and plenty of vegetables will give you worlds of better results than eating pills. Always. Also I would like to second the notion that the five-year-long stint of supplement-based health protocol for hair loss (esp. with no progress photos), or any medical concern just seems like a tragic story of running away and being ruled by fear. I may be projecting because I tried pursuing the same finely-tuned-machine vision of health in college using supplements, but this is just the wrong way to go about life. How is it healthy to pay so much attention to individual micronutrients and hyperfocus on how to rebalance your supplement intake to address the ache you felt in your left ankle last night, or the nervousness you felt talking to some girl? Much better to just stop, learn to listen to the body, because it knows what it needs. That just also means you have to actually take care of yourself emotionally, too, because when you learn to listen to your body you can’t just ignore half of what it’s saying. Eat real food, learn to enjoy cooking, exercise, water and get on a good sleep habit, cultivate good relationships with others and spend time with yourself to heal the emotional wounds you’re probably hiding from by running around blind to your intuition, trying to cure yourself of discomfort. UPDATE Jan 6:
It's looking like with the addition of Molybdenum and increase in Zinc, Manganese is no longer helpful. So Manganese should be stopped.
From the previous update; the addition of molybdenum is allowing more zinc to be absorbed, which is why the amount of zinc being taken can be increased (as long as molybdenum is included).
Current update:
Manganese NOT NEEDED.
Add Molybdenum at 500mcg per day (or 1mg every 2 days).
Increase Zinc to 50mg per day.
Selenium at 400mcg per day.

It's looking like no more edits to the supplement list are going to be needed. Just a reminder that manganese should be stopped, it seems it may interfere with zinc metabolism when zinc is taken at 50mg per day. I've listed the recent edits below again for reference, the site has the complete list.
Over the coming weeks/months I plan to start posting a lot more content to the site as well as progress updates/pics. I'll continue to post occasional info on here (along with pics).
Manganese DO NOT TAKE.
Molybdenum 500mcg per day.

Lol I've been lurking in this thread for like 5 years now, FrontRowEcho is a known troll and NEVER posts pics of his hair or progress. People have been asking him to post pics literally for years. I actually laughed really hard that he still hasn't posted pics, just about sums up this thread.
The reality is that this entire thread is bullchit and downright dangerous. Either shave it off or risk your dink with fin, you decide. Taking all these pills, iodine, other bs is potentially more dangerous than fin.

Thanks for the message. I haven't yet charged anyone who has connected with me, as I wanted to make sure it was working for everyone first. I have been working on this a looong time, because that's how long it has taken me to figure it out, not because I've been sitting on the solution for 6 years and secretly trying to con people. It's been a hell of a lot of work, so it's a bit frustrating when people call BS without understanding what I've put into it so far, or they have also not tried putting in any work themselves.
I posted the website less than a year ago, but I've since figured it needed additional tweaks because it wasn't working as fast or as optimally as I knew it could, which is why I made the additional updates in these past few months and put a hold on releasing any additional content. Realistically the changes since I posted the site have been minimal (addition of small amount of selenium and molybdenum), but it was enough to impede strong improvement. In hindsight, I should've waited before posting, but it at least gave me more insight that some pieces were still needed.
At the very least all I've wanted was to offer a source of more current info beyond the OPs protocol, because his recommendations were definitely not on the right track and much more complicated than what they needed to be. I do encourage everyone to be diligent and do their own research/work. I also think it's counter-productive to discourage people like me from putting a lot of their free time and effort into figuring this all out because we're all working towards the same goal.
Anyways, I will continue at it and I do plan to post a lot more content as well as pics that you're waiting for. If this does happen to blow-up at some point, I want to make sure I've built it on a solid foundation, so I am obligated to work at my own pace. Im still waiting for some pics from him. I think he will be in complete denial to the point he wont even take pictures as it will show little to no progress since he started this strange protocol. I think hes waiting to magically get the perfect dose then BOOM his hair will regrow and solve all his issues.
