Products arrived today.
This week is a deload week for me, but I have been too anxious to get my hands on this stuff so I still went ahead and took 1MR Vortex and the creatine alkaline. I'll wait to start A-HD tomorrow.
Deload session #3
Deadlifts
10 reps of 315 with 30 seconds rest between each rep.
*Working on speed here and by the 5th or 6th rep it was feeling really easy.
Clean and Jerk (jerk part was more of a standing OHP, lol)
225x2
EZ Bar Curls
85x12
85x12
HIIT on Treadmill
10 minutes 15 seconds
Sprint 30 seconds, fast walk 30 seconds, 1.25 miles
First impreessions: I recieved the Fruit Punch flavor of Vortex, which I wasnt that happy with becuase I am not the biggest fan of FP flavored products, but I was pleasantly surprised as it was damn good going down the hatch. As far as the workout goes, I felt pretty good. Didnt go too hard today so next week I should get a better feel for it, especially with the addition of A-HD.**** TwinlabFuel Representative ****

Felt really good today. This week has been much needed as far as taking it easy goes.
Ive been tracking my cal intake the past 2-3 weeks a lot more and keeping things around BMR level and been doing minor cardio. Both of which has definitely helped a lot. Whereas before my eating habits were sporadic before. I gained about 10lbs over the past 4 months, energy was down, lifts didnt feel good and I have got away with doing that for the past two years. But now Im getting to the point where my lifts are getting heavier and i cant be doing that anymore, plus I want to lose about 15-20 lbs.
A few weeks ago I weighed in at 257.5 lbs at 16-17% BF with a LBM of 215lbs. So theoretically if I can drop to 235 without losing much LBM I could get down to a 10% BF, which in my life has never been done before, lol. Earlier this week I weighed in at 252 so there has been some progress, probably some water weight lost but progress is progress.

sup d?
your water weight is usually the first to go, especially after your prior weekend events, but progress is progress and it can be a jump start to keep you motivated. 235 at 10% would be downright scary but i know for a fact that once you decide to do something, it's a wrap so i look forward to progress pics-no homo
a couple other guys (woody and jshaw) and i have noticed that with the increase in conditioning work comes shorter recovery time and more endurance under the bar. it sounds corny but its seriously hard to wait the regular 2-3 minutes between sets. i used to get really, really winded on squats and now i'm always ready to go and with minimal strength loss. it's a weird feeling because some weights that used to be easy to move around in the past require a lot more effort but i'm able to do it again and again and again when i feel like i'm out of strength but the push and drive is there more than ever
nice sandbag deload btw i'm ready to see you go HAM next week brother225OHP/315B/420S/505D

yeah i agree, 235 @ 10% would be scary, lol.
I also agree about the conditioning. I hate waiting so long in between sets, sometimes it just gets ridiculous and then I have no energy to do accessory work, so its time for a change. Plus I have never been to keen on having a low BF% but I'd like to now while lifting heavy ass weight. Anyone can be heavy and lift heavy. Dont get me wrong, even at 235 Ill still be considered big/heavy compared to most, but I cant really do much about what my body size that the good lord blessed me with, lol.**** TwinlabFuel Representative ****

yep. i know you've probably read it but somewhere in 5/3/1 wendler talks about having a 1000lb squat but that was all he could do; waddle over to a monolift, get it done and then pass out trying to tie up his shoes. a nice balance between strength and functionality will be awesome
i was watching the nfl combine over the weekend and some of the TE's had it going on. some dude from baylor that was 6'6", 266 pounds, 11 inch hands, 36 inch arms and a 4.60 40 time. straight up animal225OHP/315B/420S/505D
