You want to know how I know you're completely ****ing retarded?
I bet you don't even know what type or caliber the weapon you claim to carry was. This leads me to believe that all of this bull**** you continue to spew is just complete PETA horse**** you're making up.
First off, No hunting caliber round is going to have more stopping power than a shotgun slug, or even 00 buckshot.
Hunting animals? Sure, use a hunting round.
Covering your ass because a bear is about to eat your skull? Slug.
Your post just get more and more retarded as they come. You've never been in a 'stand off' with any wild animal that wasn't a daddy long legs in your shower you ***got.

It's definitely not legal to kill an animal out of season unless you're at immediate risk of injury from the animal.
The guy's a fukking tard for posting the vid though, because there are ridiculously steep fines/possible jail time for "unjustly" killing an animal out of season.Check out some of my mixes over at Soundcloud.com/jthemig

Don't feel sorry for the Moose. Sorry, I have no sympathy for a fuking moose, coyotes, tigers, lions, alligators or anything else that is overly agressive and can kill me. The gun evens the playing field, and hey, if the animal started it, WHICH HE DID, sorry, you gotta go. (All of you *******s saying oh just turn around its his territory, etc.) We live on this planet too, humans are natural and native just to this planet like a moose, so its my territory too, he should have just moved a few steps out of the way instead of wildly attacking and it wouldn't have happened. And to anybody who says, but he doesn't know any better he's just an animal....Then he shouldn't be alive in the first place if they're all that naturally retarded.
EDIT: And who cares if its legal???? It turned around and was coming back towards him.. Are you going to tell me you'd risk your life to not get fined? Would you really be thinking, oh **** he's coming back for more but i can't do anything because its against the law?
Doubt it...I wouldn't risk turning around and having my back to that thing for a second.

Okay, I don't like judging a book by its cover, but I've read all of this guy's posts ITT and now can confirm..... you are the definition of a fat phuck redneck loser *******.
If the moose in the video or you were running towards me, I'd definitely be more afraid of you. A 300 pound ugly redneck that seems to enjoy shooting anything that moves.

Moose really don't give a fuk. I had a huge bull come up right behind me when I was fly fishing. I could have walked right under it w/o ducking. He was huge. The fuker wasn't going anywhere. I ended up going for a swim, losing a shoe and back tracking over a mile, half barefoot just to get back to camp.
I can't believe that pistol took that moose down. Granted it was a really young moose but up here you need more than a glock to take down some wildlife.
If I were in that situation, I would have first tired to wait for the trail to clear. If that didn't work, I'd try to find another route. He really was asking for it.
Shame to see him take down that little guy. It would have looked great on a wall a few years down the road.Last edited by gixxer0.6g; 02-27-2014 at 02:30 PM.

^^^pretty much all of your responses so far
you cant "go around" moose, especially going off a trail in an insane amount of snow where the ground is probably extremely unstable and you cant see whats under it. put that variable into the equation that already has an extremely aggressive wild animal in a very remote area, the risk you take of trying to avoid the moose is insurmountably high. but hey, sorry you cant admit youre wrong. i take it you dont do well with rejection

I have had a moose cross my path before while hiking (2 separate occasions) and my experience was the exact opposite. Once it jumped into my path about 15 ft in front of me. I backed up slowly and kept backing up til i was a good distance then went another direction. Never saw that moose again
