I was in an advanced nursing program(RN in 2 years) and gave up after a year. It was too stressful for me at the time(23 credits a semester at 18). I give you props for being an RN, I hope you are doing it because you want to and not the money, but prepare for no social life until you get a career.

There is a massive Nursing thread somewhere on the misc, and it's always getting praise, especially in how easy jobs are and salary..the only thing I can say is you need to be able to tolerate stress...I remember having to work in a Hospital when I use to do Nursing Studies, and do all those presentations....brb me and some guy with 20+ other students being female.. I couldn't handle the stress because I couldn't separate my personal life to what you're suppose to be doing, otherwise the experience was great.

This is what worries me. I feel that there is always stigma against guys looking for job in a predominantly ruled female body. This doesn't apply for females however.

I live in Northern Canada.. This is news to me. Im in the medical field n only make 1/2 that on a good year.
