Mom pissed at first job choice

One of my friends just hooked it up with a position at our state zoo as a member of the restaurant crew. I'm excited because I've been trying to find a job for the longest time, but my moms upset because she thinks I can "do better." I've tried applying to other places and they all either require staff to be 18+ in age, or have prior work experience, which I don't have at all. Is it fair that my mom wants me to wait for a better job position, or should she just be happy for me finally getting a fuarking job brahs?

That's what I'm saying; I'm not trying to make a fuarking career out of it. Plus the experience on my resume will look good for future inquiries. She has this elitist outlook on life that I don't really agree with; expects my first job to be a paid internship at our nearby medical college. Lol.

first job was at McDonalds, good resume builder as that's all it was.

But he's right you'll hate it in no time. Just leave on good terms and be a good emloyee so you can use them as a reference.
