    What makes real food better than protein shakes?

    I would much rather get the majority of, if not all of my protein from shakes and bars, but I hear that it's worse for you than eating real food. Why? If I get enough carbs and fat throughout the day, how would it affect my health negatively if I had nothing but shakes and bars for protein?

    protein from food is generally a more complete source with all the Aminos in it, but all in all its nothing to worry about if you need to get it all from shakes

    OP, i also have to say real food...well its real haha so more nutrients, its like taking in 500 cals from pop,, rather than from steak? if that analogy works
