E, by process of elimination.
Hank was 4 blocks away 5 minutes after the murder. The killer didn't carry him there since he was alone in the car. Very unlikely that somebody else decided to carry him 4 blocks.
Unless Joe hates himself, he can't be the victim.
Mac's family and friends obviously know Mac, so it can't be Mac.
