It was fun when I was younger, but now I'd rather be at home (or friends house) or at a lake, grilling food and vaping. I maybe get drunk 3x per year nowadays, and it is usually at weddings/bachelor parties.

I agree, but OP was using the term "going out" as in "going to clubs/bars and drinking." Not just leaving the house in general.

Hated the club/bar scene when I was younger but the wife and I do enjoy going out to casual bars ever once in a while now. For us it's all about atmosphere, screaming your drink order or having to deal with kids grinding on you all night is not fun for us.

This. If I do end up finding myself in a noisy crowded bar, I get annoyed very quickly at how loud I have to shout to carry on a conversation. Didn't bother me when I was younger though, probably because I was just on the prowl for poon most of the time.

I like going to parties. I don't like going out to clubs/bars though. I mean I'll occasionally have fun but I hate how expensive it gets. Buying a thirty pack at a gas station and heading to someone's house is so much better.

"you're not living" is what a lot of people say, and that's generally how I get convinced to go out. It really depends on what your definition of living is though. Mine is lifting, working on my car on the weekends. Living to me means you enjoy what you're doing, and I just don't really enjoy going out.

I guess I mean to say I'm more talking about going out to bars in the college sense.

I have my own paintball gun and it's a freaking blast, I go shooting with my ar-15, I mean I go out and do stuff. I just don't like going out at night to bars, clubs etc

i can't listen to what they play at clubs these days, i dunno if electronic music is going downhill or what but there's just no groove anymore. that garrix animals track is phucking horrible, can't even dance to that chit. i still go if there's a good house music event, that has some semblance of a groove, if the music is chit i cant even do it anymore
