I've been lifting seriously for 6 years now. I had lifted for sports in high school and maxed out on bench at 205, squat at 315, and not sure about deads. But as of now I'm at bench 375 lbs., squat 425 lbs, and dead 525 lbs. 100% natty.
I've found I make my best gains with supplementing ON Whey, Xtend BCAA's, Fish Oil, Orange Triad+greens, Con-cret, plus any preworkout. Eating two big meals a day and 1 small, all lean meats, good carbs, and lots of veggies.
Took me only 2 years to up bench from 205 to 315 btw. Took forever to finally get 365.Lifts as of November 2013. 1 month left of bulking before cut begins January 13,2014
Bench Press - 350 lbs (past) - 375 lbs (present)
Squat - 405 lbs (past) - 425 lbs (present)
Deadlift - 500 lbs (past) - 525 lbs (present)

I have always sucked at bench since I started lifting but have managed to get up to 315lbs.
I remember when I first started, getting to two plates seemed impossible, hell even lifting one and half seemed impossible but then when I finally got there & I thought to my self no way would I be able to do 3 plate. 4years later (about 1month ago from now I managed to get 3 plates)
So I think anything is possible, maybe I will get 4 plates one day if I put my mind to it.
Keep working hard and eating correctly and it will happen.Current weight - 190lbs (12-13%)
2016 PB's
375lbs bench
540lbs deadlift
485lbs squat

Yes but expect to gain plenty of weight and spend years training. Best friend hit it at 5'9" 240lbs. Not a fatass, but not lean either. Also helps to be built for benching. You'll know if you are or not.

yes...but flat BB bench press is nearly a pointless exercise especially when your maxing out. You run more risk of injury as well. If you want to powerlift then worry about your flat BB numbers, if not, do more beneficial chest exercises that are safer on your shoulders.

I know 2 brothers. They are both insanely strong.
One of them was quite big and fat, the other quite skinny.
I would have never believed it if I hadn't seen it, but they both could do 5 plates on the flat bench, and 4 plates on the incline, and their form was perfect.
The skinny one would go to bench press contests and just blow everyone away. People would get really pissed off.
Then the skinny one got on the tech and got bigger and very ripped.
The fat one stayed clean
I still see the fat one from time to time. Totally cool dude. I asked him once how they could use so much weight and he just said "Must be genetic. We've both always been strong."

225 is easy. Very doable.
But 405, I've seen a natty do it. Freak of nature kid in my high school. Genetics of the gods. He could also hang clean 225x15. He is 6'2" as well."I don't say goodbye until the pain says hello. That's how you know the set is done." -Greg Plitt

Tbh I think it is possible for some people natty, but only with top tier genetics for strength and getting really fat (~25% bodyfat+). I for one am not built for strength at all, and I think my limit would be 3 plates at absolute max even if I was really fat. I can't complain too much though, I tend to put on a lot of size for the little strength that I do have, which is nice for aesthetics. I'll just never be able to push legitimately heavy weight.
We're all built differently brah, but for people who were born for it, I'd say it is doable with a lot of hard work.
