Great job on being able to keep fitness part of your life while having kids. I personally don't have kids, but a lot of my friends do and some of them have hard time fitting fitness into their life.
I find that it's best not to keep snacks at home. When ever my nice and nephew in law come over (they are 5 and 2) they ask for food and I always have fresh fruit for them, make them whole wheat pancakes with frozen blue berries, they also like to eat whole wheat bagels with PB. They learned that when they come over to my house they are not going to get any candy or chips, and I hope I can help them stay on the healthy path, because the some of the family members (grandparents and sister in law) always give them candy.AI Sports Nutrition Rep

Great job there!!
As I see you still have plenty of time to have kids. However you already know what to do to keep them strong and healthy practicing on your niece and nephew.
Thanks God my son would not touch candy of any kind... He will eat a cookie once in a while but he NEVER asks for candy. He is a true meat eater!! Also... I never buy Stuff Like the to begin with... All that sugar makes kids way too hyper, bad for their teeth as well... Nothing more than empty calories... I rather seeing him munching on an apple or pear..IFBB PRO ATHLETE

Solid start
With my 4 year old I got her a kids cooking set and she helps me cook every night. Learns how to measure and weigh everything. Always try to keep sweets to a min in the house but grand parents watch my kids so lol they get some candy. But my daughter likes bananas before candy any day
Also since me and my wife go to the gym daily my daughter likes to do her excersises in the house. She calls it gym time lol50% of my posts are 100% factual

Oats lollipop very cool treat for kids
Unlike candy lollipops, you wouldn’t mind your children eating these. The oats, jaggery, nuts and sesame seeds all blend in nicely to make these lollipops crunchy and delicious. You can make them in advance and store them in air-tight containers.
Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 7 mins
Makes 12 lollipops
Ingredients
1 tsp ghee
1/2 cup grated jaggery (gur)
1/4 cup roasted quick cooking rolled oats
1/4 cup lightly roasted and finely chopped mixed nuts
(pistachios, almond and walnuts)
1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds (til)
Method
Heat ½ tsp of ghee in a broad non–stick pan, add the jaggery and cook on a slow flame till the jaggery melts, while stirring continuously.
Remove from flame, add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Keep aside to cool slightly.
Grease your hands with the remaining ½ tsp of ghee and divide the mixture into 12 equal portions, shape it into a round ball and insert a small stick in the centre.
Cool completely and store in a air-tight container.

Great idea...who doesn't love fit moms?
I don't have kids - and that's exactly the fact that you have and still have the mindset to create a motivational blog that gave me today's motivation boost
And as I can see you already had a busy life in terms of fitness goals.
Amazing transformation btw, keep up!

Kids resistant training.
Strength training can help kids to build healthy muscles, joints, and bones. With a safe program, they can improve sports performance , endurance, and fitness level. It can even help to prevent injuries and speed up recovery.
Strength training includes own body weight exercises, free weights, machines, and resistance bands. With resistance the muscles have to work harder to move. When the muscles work harder, they grow stronger.
Strength training can also help strengthen the ligaments and tendons that support the muscles and bones.
However the benefits may go beyond physical health. Young athletes may feel better about themselves as they get stronger.
The goal of strength training is not bodybuilding or weight lifting at this age. It's not recommended for kids and teens. In these sports, people train with very heavy weights . Kids and teens who do those sports can risk injuring their growing bones, muscles, and joints.IFBB PRO ATHLETE

Going to have to show this to my girlfriend when I get home. She is 7 months pregnant now with our son. She doesn't feel like she will ever have a toned fit body after the baby. I've tried to show her pictures and things but she always just says that those women just have the body type for it. Any tips or words of wisdom/encouragement I can pass along to her to help convince her she can do it would be a plus.
Congratulations by the way. It looks like you've accomplished a lot all while raising a child.

Thank you very much for this reply!
First of all congratulation to you both!!!
I've heard this way too many times.." You just have good genetics" ... This is so not true! I worked for every single inch on my body very very hard! I'll attach a picture for you to see where I started ... Lol
If she wants it bad enough no one can stop her to have a great body even after having a baby...
I am hear if she needs any help or advice.
Here is the pic I was talking about...
