A short and sweet "about me"....
I am 34 years old, 5'2" and currently 135 lbs. My daily calorie intake is 2550/day which puts me at about a 0.5 lb gain per week. I train for strength...I eat for strength, mucle growth and my sanity. I hope to eventually get around to cutting some of the fat. I have a vacation planned for May but I cant bring myself to cut yet (I may regret this decision at bikini time ). I am on the mend for hip flexor strains in both hips so no squatting right now. Anything else lower body is based on whether I can do it pain free or not. I am currently still fouldering around about picking a program.
I started using JETMASS last night so I will post yesterday's training session in a few.POWERLIFTING TRAINING JOURNAL

Monday 2/17/14: Flat Bench & Accessory
Flat BB bench
45x10
95x5x2
105x4
115x2x2
95x6
Floor presses
115x3x3
Decline
95x8
115x6
115x4
Cable flyes
15x10x3
Single arm pull downs
20x10
30x8x2
Seated French press
Barx8
Bar+10x8
Bar+20x8
I worked on getting leg drive into my flat bench. I haven't done well with that in the past and it's holding me back from pushing bigger weights. It went pretty well. I still need to learn to let my legs relax between reps so that I am able to drive with them on the ascent. Repetition, repetition, repetition.
I still hate floor presses. I do best on my last set. It takes me forever to click with them.
Jetmass....
The directions say to use Jetmass after training and before bed. This is so much more convenient for me than before training. I go to the gym right after work and I tend to scramble to leave work on time. Instead of giving myself time to shut down I work until the second I leave. That means I either forget about the creatine all together or think about it when I'm rushing to get out the door. This is much easier on me.
I tried Tropical Ice Jetmass out for the first time and my initial response was "Dayum". It's really, really good. It's got a juice-type flavor. Also it doesn't hit you right in the back of the jaw because it's so bitter. You know that feeling when you drink/eat something so tart it feels like you are being stabbed in the lymph nodes? None of that with Jetmass. Surprisingly good stuff. As far as the other claims only time will tell.POWERLIFTING TRAINING JOURNAL

I am late to my own Log!!!! Thanks Penny for putting all the details together. FL was fun!
Got to meet GreekyBeth and she played tour guide. We ate Greek, walked the sponge harvest dock, had baklava and galaktoboureko (sp)for desserts, bought some sponges of course, and had a great visit!
Then Gen got a 24-hr stomach thing on Sunday morning, so we nursed her back to health on the beach. And last night at midnight I started in with the same. Neither of us has thrown up in probably 5 years, so we got some extra abs workout this trip!
And the weather local never got to the high 60's but will be near 80 this week...curse you weather. We had fun with all the retirees though! They got together and did pot luck Valentines day last Friday and then were doing Karaoke on Sunday night that eventually just became a sing along!
OK enough about the trip. Been lifting again for 17 years and started taking PL more seriously in ~2008. Some injuries have slowed me down over the years, but I am in pretty decent shape right now. I use a Westside theme similar to DeFrancos and I try to get a session of CFit in every week.
I have not used Creatine in quite a while, so I should do well with JetMASS. I like the formulation and am very interested to see how it works for me. I am still a touch under the weather, so won't be getting anything heavy moved for a couple days as I am trying to rehydrate between naps.
Thanks to all who have signed up to follow!Journal- One of the Ogres
