    To Bulk or Cut?

Hi, I'm 22 years old 5'11'' and weight around 165lbs. I've been somewhat bulking for the past several months but not really tracking my diet like I should but I know I've been in a calorie surplus (probably to much of one) I'm guessing that i'm between 9-12 % body fat. Over the past several months I've got a lot stronger. Bench Max has went up to around 240. Not sure of the other major lifts off the top of my head. I do full body 3x a week. abs 3x a week. and cardio 2x a week (40 min treadmill). Now that summer isn't that far off I'm wanting to get lean and super defined. As of last week, I started tracking my calories and have been in a 500 calorie deficit eating a total of 1700 calories. My question is is it okay to be cutting down for summer given my current situation.
