Nice going bro. Now that's creative. No room for a gym, just build a room. From now on, no one should complain they don't have room for a home gym. LOL
You must be handy to do it most yourself. I love working out at home. My stuff, my music

Pretty much just hammer and nails, and reading a measuring tape. I've been a welder/fabricator for 8 yrs. My boss wants to get together with me and build some equipment. We're probably do this later this winter. We'll more than likely start off with the easy stuff like PowerRacks and weight tree's. Should be fun.

That's how things start bro. Before you know it you could be making racks and trees for other people and selling them on ebay or some place like that.
You never know
Good luck.

I think I'll just wait for the tax return and buy what I can until then for equipment. I'll need a chopsaw, bandsaw, 110v mig, descent drill, ect. Should'nt cost over $1500. Already have descent shop out back. My wife already knows upholstry so she could do some real custom benches.
You mentioned ebay overload. That got me thinking, lol

I should have it completed by winter w/ heating source. We're gonna run T-111 around the whole thing next spring. Total calculated cost is $1800.00 Doing it myself. So far for equipment I have 500lbs+ olympic weight, 2 bars, Olympic bench, Power Rack with Pulley attachment. Ordered 85lb powerblocks today!
Our local gym is full of college students and very crowded. Besides, it's been more fun lifting at home. Crank up the tunes
Here's a pic of the trailer somewhat. note the walls

Beats working out of the Garage like me. Go figure, I have a 4 bedroom house and still have to put the gym in the garage (master bdroom, daughters room, office, guest room), I wish i could talk the wife into getting rid of the guest room, but we have family bout everyother month. atleast I wired the stereo system and cable tv in the garage. Since it is a 2 car garage i'm thinking about spliting it down the middle with a wall so I can get the gym feeling in there, plus it would heat better in the winter. Or at least just insulating the garage door.

do it. You'll prbly want a door in the middle of your wall, but aside from that, it prbly won't be too hard, especially if you're not too concerned about appearance. Or just move the guests to the garage and take the guest room.....
