I know that posting actual lifting videos is probably frowned upon now that the O35 has turned into the forum for obvious trolling and assorted ridiculousness, but thought I would give it a pop anyway.
My biggest ever DL to date has been 165kg (363lb) back in November, and I have been trying to sort out my horrible form ever since. I tried 170kg last week and it may as well have been welded to the floor.
But in today's DL session my form seemed to be a bit tighter, so I tried some heavy singles, culminating in a 180kg pull (397lb). The form's still far from perfect, but I was pretty stoked with a 33lb leap in my PR.
PS yes, the victory jig at the end was a joke.
PPS yes, the victory jig at the end was not only a joke, but also a fair representation of my actual dancing

Flounder. Only reason I popped into the O35 general area was to see if you posted this in here.
Nice one buddy. Fantastic barbending lift. Heyuge PR jump. Worthy of huge props.
Now post this in the o35 this week thread where it will stay and be admired.

Cheers all! Much too many posts to multiquote everyone, but I do appreciate the support. Its funny I was just getting to a point where I was getting a bit down about lifting - my form wasn't improving and I felt like I was getting nowhere. So it was kind of the gods of iron to throw me a bone - am now massively enthused all over again! Funny how it can be like that.
2.5 x BW at 80kg is 200kg, which is my next major target (needs a mild cut too!). First I have to buy some more weights though. With 180kg on I had four 1.25kg plates left, and hardly any room on the bar!
Cheers BLK - not DOH - strapless but mixed grip w chalk...
Thanks geek. Some first class giffery there. I think if celebratory jigs are going to be come the norm I need to work on mine a bit...
Thanks DNG. Feel like enough of an attention whore posting it in here as well as my journal - so will spare the this week in the O35 thread!
Cheers DD - was just being grumpy and facetious about the general level of content in the main forum recently. A lot of the serious posters seem to have migrated into the journal section or just disappeared...☻/
