I think they charge not for their autograph, but for the cost of the "HQ glossy picture" that they have you pick to sign. When i went to Arnolds 2012-2013, Roelly, Flex Lewis, Ronnie, Steve Kuclo, DJ and a bunch of them were charging for an autographed pic.
If I may: in professional sports where there are league "minimums" ( no one makes under 450 thousand a year ), I'm sure they are happy to sign whatever and wherever....
in Bodybuilding, most of the guys have to hustle for a buck, it isn't easy: the actual earnings from events is not that much, and people have a very exagerrated idea of what the average professional bodybuilder makes for a living.....
their food and gear bills are off the charts...
Why do you think the classic guys ( like recently departed Larry Scott ) are even at those various Arnold Classic expos hawking whatever they can: because of greed?? really...because they NEED the damn money.....
it is their right to determine if they need to charge for autographs , or whatever......
in my case, I never asked for an autograph from ANYONE or ANY sport in my life: I was always content to meet, shake hands and say a few words with them, and just have that as a remembrance....Lift as MUCH as you can, for as MANY reps as you can,
while in complete control of the exercise.

I forgot what thread, might have been the Arnold one, maybe another but I had brought up Bonac and why he wasn't talked about much. I'm happy he got a good placing in not one of the biggest events but still a good line up and he did really well, hoping he does more damage going forward. It's a shame he isn't as tall as the big guys in the open cuz I think he could be a top guy at the Olympia with some more height and a bit more weight...

I have my doubts he'll surpass Kai but I also never board hype trains. What I would find funny is if years from now this guy wins Mr.Olympia and all the same people who ragged on Phil for being narrow were singing this guy's praises. The irony would be of biblical proportions. 2 narrow framed Mr.Olympia's in a row would be something else.
Spike92 is 15.
^ place this in your sig to remind the world that Spike92 is indeed 15 and will never be anything other than 15.
When im not hungry I eat. When Im tired I train. When I feel like giving up I push harder.

CNN has a slideshow of "32 amazing sports photos." They include a shot of Luke Timms from Australian Pro (12th photo in, you can jump to it from the thumbnails.)
I'm glad CNN is including bodybuilding among other more traditional sports, but they picked a lousy photo.
