Never understood the aesthetic qualities of these shoes.
They look incredibly clunky, unnecessarily large, and the right triangle shape of it really ruins it for me. I live in Vancouver, and I never see anyone wearing Jordans, so it might be just a cultural thing.
But yeah, someone please explain to me why you'd want to spend 200 dollars on a leather triangle.

some jordans actually look pretty good.
and no racist but they do look good with african americans (no homo and no racist)
i would never buy them anymore tho. there are cheaper and better alternatives, but i do see the appeal.
it looks good(some), represents a popular brand/image/bball player, its exclusive (heard some are very limited/rare)
also the actual bbal shoes look pretty good on court (melo, chris paul, j 28, etc.) but nike is superior imoEx-Distance Runner | Ex-Sprinter | Current Bodybuilder/weight lifter

When I lived in Ontario and was in the 8th grade
I got my mum to spend like 240 dollars on a pair of jordans just cuz everyone wanted them
now.. their collecting dust in a plastic bag in my storage room some people don't even know what jordans are over here
plus they look huge
I don't even see why people like any type of high-tops

Id rather not support a player that could barely read at a high school level and took fake classes in college ro sray eligible. MJ was good but it was a joke that he could play at UNC. Never wen to classes and somehow stayed eligible, just like most UNC athletes in the last 4 decades. Everyone around these parts knows it.

roshes are dope as ****
only J's people really wear are 1s, 3s 4s, 5s, 7s, 11s, 6 rings, and spizikes. The rest are rarely seen. The reason people want/wear/collect is all because of hype. Jays usually retail around 180 but if you have bred 11s from like 01 they will sell for 400-500 dollars. All hype brah
edit: Nike air Yeezy 2 "Red Octobers" are another example of the hype. Theyre ugly ass shoes, but a pair runs your 2500 cuz theyre so hyped up.
