Aside form shopping, my wife and I stayed overnight in Niagara Falls. Been there many times, but not for a long time. Great day though:

One place I've always wanted to go but never been. Anything else to do around there or is that about it?

I was actually commenting to my wife that a whole industry has been established around this natural wonder. Niagara Falls has turned into a poor man's Vegas (more cheesy though). Lots of shops and attractions on the main street (Clifton Hill). There's the Casino and plenty of bars and restaurants around.

Close by Niagara on the Lake is a very picturesque little town. It's a great place to spend the day just walking the streets, hitting the shops - plenty of ice cream parlors, bakeries, restaurants. Very nice park there too.

The whole Niagara region is known for its wineries as well. So if you are into that there are plenty of vineyards to visit for sampling.

My little man Nathan turns 5 on the 30th, but we celebrated yesterday. Rented out a play place for him and his Jr Kindergarten friends. I think he had fun....
