GOLD Coast womaniser Gable Tostee claims to have rigged his apartment with motion-sensor cameras, using the footage to keep meticulous records of his conquests.

The 28-year-old is at the centre of an investigation into the death of a New Zealand tourist who fell from the balcony of his 14th-floor Gold Coast apartment early on ­Friday morning.

Warriena “Rrie” Tagpuno Wright fell to her death from Mr Tostee’s apartment after meeting him via dating app Tinder.

Police say their investigation has included combing Mr Tostee’s apartment for hidden cameras or covert surveillance equipment.

Mr Tostee claims to have taken 150 girls back to his ­Avalon flat for sex, saying he kept records of each one, even secretly taping their phone conversations and nights out.

Mr Tostee also claimed to use a drone and a telescope to watch neighbours and passers-by from his high-rise.

A prolific contributor to website bodybuilding.com, Mr Tostee took to the site on Monday, protesting his innocence.

“I’ve been advised not to go into details but all I will say is I did NOT cause this girl to fall and that I am devastated about what happened,” he wrote.

Ms Wright was seen drinking and laughing with Mr Tostee on his balcony earlier in the night. Neighbours reported hearing a commotion and the sound of a woman screaming.

In a post in which Mr Tostee bragged of having sex with 100 women, he detailed the efforts he went to in order to keep track of each one.

“I have actually kept a written log with dates and names,” he wrote.

“I’m somewhat obsessed with recording everything. I have motion detection cameras in my house, call recordings on my phone, and sometimes even leave my phone on record in my pocket for nights out in case I forget what happens.”

He described the 100th woman on his list as a “drop in standards”.

“Only reason I went for her was because she had huge teddies,” he wrote in 2012.

“Went out to clubs tonight with a few mates and got shot down by most hot girls. Really put a hole in my confidence.

“Eventually I figured I’d get the 100th out of the way by dropping my standards.

“I have a parrot AR drone with a built in camera and Wi-Fi remote control so I can control it and record first person from my phone,” Mr Tostee wrote in a post last year.

Forensic crews yesterday wrapped up a painstaking five-day operation at Mr ­Tostee’s Surfers Paradise apartment.

Detectives will also comb the scene for clues over the coming days as police await the results of Ms Wright’s post-mortem examination.

The findings of the toxicology report could take weeks to deliver.

Mr Tostee’s lawyer Mick Purcell would not comment on his client’s online activities or say whether he had instructed the 28-year-old to remove his dating-site profiles.

“We have no comment at this stage,” he said.

Detective Superintendent Dave Hutchinson, from the South Eastern police region, renewed calls for anyone with any information that might prove useful to police to come forward.

“We want to speak to anyone who has any information that may assist the investigation,” he said.
