Hello.
Let me first say THANK YOU to the Gaspari reps for selecting me to review Superpump 3.0. I have always been a Gaspari fan and have tried many products, from Superpump, Sizeon , Glycofuse, Aminolast, etc so I was very excited to learn I was selected. I have been lucky enough to review Superpump Max so I figured, why not give this a try to see how it compairs? One thing youll notice in my logs/reviews is that Im honest. If I liked it, I'll say it, if not, then I will say I dont and the reasons why.
I am not competitive, but I am not your average gym-goer. I've been going to the gym for years just trying to be the best that I could be and who knows, maybe I can step on stage someday. My SP 3 came earlier then expected so I have already broken into the container. I plan on doing this inital review and periodically check in to post different updates as this is a review not a log. I plan on doing at least 5 days of logging for now, and then updates as I see fit. Mod's if you request something different, no problem send me a pm.
DAY ONE. ARMED ASSAULT.
Like I said yesterday , 02/07/2014, I came home for work to find that brown box everyone loves to see sitting on my front door step. From "Gaspari." Heres what was inside: There was an informational pamphlet inside. I thought it was interesting to compair this to superpump max and superdrive. The coolest thing about this product is this no 'prop' blend thing going on, so nothing is hidden. Awesome! I also see some agmatine in there. The only product I've tried with that in it was Hemavol. I also liked the discreet packaging. There was no fancy label as you can see. Makes me feel important to the testing process here. My preworkout meal well,,,,sucked. Sausage,egg,cheese on a bagel and a donut..yup a donut. Chocolate cookie dough from dunkin donuts. Having to be at work for 8 and waking at 740 is what screwed me up.
I opened the container noticing a pretty strong Watermelon smell. Not like an Aminolast watermelon, but stronger. The powder is pink obviously and nice and fine, not gritty. I started off with one scoop. The scoop size is modest. I believe its smaller then SPmax but bigger then superdrive. 1 scoop, 8oz of water. Shaken. Stired. BAM! No mixability issues. .
SP3 was consumed about 30minutes preworkout while watching some Branch Warren, who of course, is the newest Gaspari athlete. I figured what better day to test this out then arm day. Honestly, I felt no increase in energy. It could have been many factors, from waking up early, crappy food, etc, but I did not notice a drastic boost in energy or that kinda buzzy feeling of alertness you get with some pre's. Not a big deal though. Taste was good. The watermelon in my opinion is strong, but easy to drink. The best part- no grit and nothing left behind in the cup. Good quality right there.
So I get to the gym and go ape:
Biceps.
Cambered bar curl. 4 sets. Worked up to 65pd.
Cable curls. 4 sets working up to 120pd.
DB hammer curls. 3 sets getting up to 40pds (dealing with some tendonitis)
Preacher straight bar curls. 3 sets
TRiceps
Hammer Strength push downs. 4 sets up to about 2 plates.
Seated push down machine. 4 sets
Rope push downs. 3 sets.
tricep extentions. 3 sets.
PUMP CITY. I got started and did not feel anything at first, and was getting frustrated. It wasnt until the 3rd set of bar curls that I noticed the pump set in. Infact, when I got to tri's it didnt take long to get a pump cuz they already were. Soo.. yea SP3 definitely shines in the pump department, Id say the pump lasted a good 40 minutes after the workout too.
NO SIDE EFFECTS observed. No racing heart, no stomach issues, no digestion issues, no jitters etc.
And there you have it. Day one of my review here. Questions, comments?

nice first workout!
I did 2 scoops today for arms and the pump/vascularity was out of this world - best i've experienced in quite some time
even got to finish arms next to some HBB who was mirin'

Alittle flash back to SP250. I was a fan of it, actually this flavor too. Never caused stomach issues as some have said.
Back in action today at the gym and decided to hit some back.. Why back?? Cuz Hidetada did it!

I tested Superpump 3.0, next big thing from Official Gaspari Nutrition® today. My back is still pumped crazy. I love it!
Been having some mid back discomfort, so took it alittle light today. Although light weight felt Lighter then ever: I went to a new gym today about 30 minutes away and consumed SP3.0 while enroute.
I had a heaping scoop (not yet graduated to the 2 scoop area, lol.) My preworkout meal kicked azz today. It consisted of a large omelet turkey sausage and some chocolate chip pancakes. 40g pro, like 60g carbs or so.
BACK:
smith machine deadlifts. Hate these but the deadlift platform was occupied. Worked up to 4 plates on each side with ease and felt cool until I realized it was 360lb total. Moved onto conventional deads up to 340pds.
Cable lat rows. This machine had a bit of an incline to it, worked up to 160lb on set 4 which actually is a PR for me on this machine.
Machine pull downs. 4 sets up to 130pd then a drop set.
Reverse hammer strength machine pull downs.. NEW machine to me so just did a plate and a quarter on each side.
Bi's. Just hit some bi's for fun even though I just did em. Did about 4 exercises, light, at 2 sets each and enjoyed the pump thanks to MR 3.0.
Ended with some abs and hyperextensions.
sp3.0 hit me good today. At this dosing I felt the energy increase, and it was just enough for me.
The Taste Well, if your a taste person, I find the watermelon to be pretty strong. I prefer the SPMAX watermelon over this. I'd like to try the Lemon, or the chocolate, YES SP 3.0 has a chocolate flavor! which I was blown away to see! In my own opinion Id like to see this product come out with the same flavors that spmax has currently. Blue raz, green apple, grape, etc, instead of these 3 choices. 8oz of water is all that is required and its just right.
The effects Again, I notice no drastic "I want to destroy the weight room feeling" when I consume SP3. I did not stim break prior to this, but my stim intake is nothing other then a pre workout. The energy today was good though and had a gradual onset to a point were tiredness was forgotten and excitement for the gym was increased.
Side effects. None.
Pump a solid 9 at least. Pumps are really good with 3.0. I felt like I had to large rocks hanging for lats after my workout.

It depends on your stim tolerance, as you will be looking at about 400mg of caffeine. For some people, that is nothing, other people that is way to much. I rarely go over 1 scoop of anything, especially a pre workout. I find 1 scoop is enuff, maybe even 1.5 scoops. I will probably make an exception to sp3 though. I'd suggest starting at 1 and assess your tolerance there, you can always move up the dosage.

Had an outstanding training session today. However, my back was hurting a bit so I hope it was just becuase I trained em yesterday + deadlifts. I ended up rockin this shirt at the gym . Got this from my SPmax log.
So shocker, today was another arm day. LOL. Speaking of deadlifts I am having some trouble with my grip, so I did some forearms too. I did one scoop, well more closer to 1.5 scoops. Maybe just shy of 1.5 scoops. I used 10oz of water and this was perfect. I found this amount of water to be just right and makes the watermelon flavor not as strong.
BI
Straight bar curls. At set 3 the pump was very noticeable.
incline cable curls. Hit a PR on this. One arm cable curls I got up to 100pds on the stack. Shocked.
Seated hammer curls.
Cable curls. Standing.
TRI
Push downs
one arm cable push downs
kick backs
v bar push downs.
( elbow pain prohibited me from doing say French presses, etc)
For 4arms I just did a few sets of wrist curls.
And there you have it. Again, the only con really is the flavor selection. I'd love to see a variety. I just saw a pic of Blue Raspberry SPMAX. I remember how good that was!
Pumps are great with sp3. PUMP CITY BABY!!! Taste could be improved. Energy increase is good, not superdrive in your face noticeable but good.... Gonna take a stim break, but ill be back!!

That is a very valid question. Based on the reviews I have seen, and the things I've seen on instagram etc, I assumed there would only be a few flavors to come out, similar to the Superdrive flavors. However I sure could be wrong.
So maybe I should say that I would SUGGEST more flavors, and not a con of the product.
