Hey guys, i just wanted to know if im thinking right.

Im currently dieting on a 500 caloric deficit. Which puts me at 3500 deficit per week.

If on a cheat day i go 1000 over maintenance, does that mean i lost two days of work, and basically if i go 3500 over maintenance i would be were i started ?

No it means your deficit for the week is 2500, you are still going to lose weigh but just not as much in theory, if you gain weight due to a cheat meal over the space of day, its more than likely just water.
    Eat the damn yolk.

If your weekly defecit was 3500, then one day you ate 3500 OVER maintenance the net resultant would be zero and no weight loss will result. It's a point I think a lot of people forget about, energy in / energy out doesn't reset after 24 hrs it's a constant cycle. Becareful on cheat days, try not to go above maintenance.

I have "cheat" days all of the time. That is why I track my calories by the week instead. MyfitnessPal makes it very easy to track Mon-Sunday and it helps my cut greatly. I eat less during the week, which allows me more calories on the weekends to eat out and have some beverages. Doing this helps my sanity.

Yep same! It's all about tracking them and saving extras for days where you want to, "let loose" so to speak.

After cheat day I blow up like a balloon and generally feel like chit. It helps in the long run though, if I didn't have a cheat day I'd lose my sanity eventually and eat everything in sight lol
