Yup. I've started to try and learn french because I see these europeans just talk english like it's a main language of theirs.

We had a German exchange student in one of my classes in high school. She was fluent in German, English, Spanish, and French. She said all Germans are fluent in at least 3-4 languages. Blew my mind, she spoke Spanish better than I do and I live in California lol.

They teach french here in Canada for most of your elementary/high school career. Thing is, once you hit high school you can stop taking it after grade 9 and I was one of those dummies that did. Trying to hop back on the bandwagon and learn it. Great for a resume in Canada.

curling is actually pretty fuking badass. fencing in the summer olympics is good too, 2 of the most underrated events for sure

The blisters my cousins and I gave ourselves playing Athens 2004 for ps2 were unreal. We took that **** so seriously we eventually discovered putting a sock on your hand prevented blisters and allowed for world record performances.
