Yes weight does matter. Weight matters a lot when it comes to bodybuilding and powerlifting.

If I weighed 400 pounds and benched 315, that wouldn't be as impressive as a 200 pounder benching 315
    Hey man guess what

    The class is 120+ kg

That means if he benches 505 at 150 kg he still beats the guy benching 315 at 120 kg

    Hope this helps

I 100% agree that weight matters but again if he is putting up those numbers at 300ish then that is still VERY impressive.

Someone sounds jealous. A 500lb bench is impressive no matter WHO is doing the lift. You'll simply never get there.

I started doing bench press like 7 months ago (didn't like it due to shoulder pain) started off with the bar now I'm benching 175-180 for reps it does't take long just keep going at it and you'll get to a sorta respectable weight.

    glad I started early.

I usually do 100 for 6-8 reps. My one rep max is 120. I'm not sure if that's a lot and if it's not then what is? I was thinking anything 135+ for someone my age but I know this site has high standards. I have a pretty big chest even though I'm not all that strong. My chest is roughly 40 inches and my arms are 12-13. I'm 5'7, 130 so not all that big. I also feel like at this age, the taller you are, the stronger you are. My other stats are a 190 squat, and 245 deadlift(max).

Idk man when i was 16 i weighed 130 and maxed out at 135

SHOULD be able to bench? What kind of question is that. Why do u care how much you can push laying flat on your back anyway? It's not very applicable to anything in life. But I guess your body weight? I don't know
