I played the last session, but unfortunately got stuck on a glitch at level 2.

I just got invited again to play this Friday through Monday, hoping to get pretty far this time.

Been too busy with the Wildstar beta, even though I havent been able to log in for 2 fukin days.

I've been invited to like 3 ESO beta weekends that I didn't participate in, so I think they just stopped inviting me lul.

Isn't this game cutting off an entire race (imperials) unless you get collector's edition? And other essential options? And still charging a subscription? And then probably including microtransactions on top of that?

It's somewhat similar
-You can still charge attacks, you can dual wield and all that jazz.
-There's lots of different races and much more customization in the characters this time
-You have set abilities triggered by 1, 2, 3 etc and other keys that I'm sure you can bind separately
-You have a skill tree for new abilities and attributes like WoW if you've ever played it.
-There's a new crafting system which I haven't looked into yet.

I don't have too much information, will report back when I play a lot more this weekend if you brahs want in this same thread.

I'm not really sure about the first one, but let's make this clear, it's not a Bethesda game, it's being made by Zenimax Studios. They have lots of similar options. Yeah they will charge a subscription, idk about microtransactions lol.

I played in 2 of the previously betas, I just missed those 2 lol. I'm a pvper and none of the betas had pvp if I remember so it didn't feel like I was missing much.

The current wildstar beta has pvp and you can enter a bg at level 6.

There's PvP in the beta now, I don't know at what point you can do so, but it was in the post-game survey and it's a pretty basic function in MMO games.
You may still be able to play, just try logging in this Friday-Monday. Hopefully your beta key is active.

All high, medium texture resolution. My rig is pretty outdated, but I can play anything except next gen games that I actually don't care too much about except for BF4, will have to upgrade soon.

Yeah, the last thing they want is people in just for the goodies, and no feedback, they seemed pretty happy that I contacted them about my glitch. What level are you so far?


Any recommendations on where I should upload the video brahs? Right now I'm uploading what the settings looks like for the graphics/start screen for brahs who repped. Rendering another video that shows lots of the ingame interface and somewhat combat and the glitch I was stumped by. Trying Dailymotion for now, but if there's any better sites I'm open to it.

There was an interview that hinted that Imperials will be unlockable in the game somehow. Or at least, that was the general suggestive nature of what the developer said.


Either way, my mind is blown people will think this will be a huge success/better than SWToR. As someone who has played it I can say I wasn't impressed too much, although the PvP will probably be great.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the PvP really. There's no way the questing and adventuring should be as good, I do hope the scenery will be up to par though. I thought this game was supposed to combat WoW more?

I enjoyed the previous weekend beta and preordered. It feels very much like an elder scrolls game even though Bethesda didn't make it (probably a good thing). It is a MMORPG but seems to have a very strong single player narrative just like a single player elder scrolls game. The graphics are nice, the music is good, the world seems quite well put together from what I played. It appears that the single player type story is much better implemented than in SWTOR, and lacks endless running back and forth (and no instances). One improvement this game has over all other Bethesda games is more than 10 voice actors voicing the entire game.

I think the freedom that the elder scrolls skill system has translate very well to online play, there are classes but you can still use all the various skills and you build them up by using them which then unlocks further skills along those paths, so it's very open and you will build your character with your own style.

Personally I am not worrying about end game and all that stuff, I'm just going to play the story and various quests I come across and then when I complete it, if I have had enough I will quit.

Nice, how far have you gotten? I'm pretty excited to play it again to see how well it plays and what new stuff they have implemented.

Really liked Templar 2 handed spec, playing around with what skill tree I liked; most likely going with Aedric Spear.

Imperial Edition reserved from GMG, so got it for only $60 (gotta love the 25% off coupon), well worth it IMO for how much I plan on playing this game.

Nice lol, I got no further than level 2 due to a glitch. Sounds pretty awesome though, I plan on being a dual wielder. Or magic in one hand and weapon in the other, that's how I chit on anything that challenged me in a Skyrim lol, I hope it works here too.

I don't know if I will buy the game just yet though, gonna need to have lots of extra money haha. I rarely buy games anymore mostly because I have other expenses that I see priority over.
