Did I miss it these last 2 years? I have read all about calculating, counting, macros, etc, but up until I asked why I wasn't losing anymore yesterday, I had never even heard of weighing food.
Someone suggested it and I still didn't get it. Did about an hours worth of research on it and figured out how important it is. I bet I've been eating at maintenance for the last month, not a deficit. Estimating portion sizes and calories on things like peanut butter, cereal, and meats had me way off, several hundred cals a day.
If you are cutting/dieting you NEED to be weighing. And this info needs to be.in a sticky, or if it already is it needs to be made more available to see and more imprortance put on it. Noobs need to know this info

I don't mean to sound rude man, but I think most people just assume you will measure.
PB especially is very calorically dense. Being off on that, can add up way too quickly. I've always used a measuring spoon.
I've always used a scale to weigh out 4 oz of raw meat.
Estimating is maybe moreso ok once you've been weighing/measuring things for a long time. But blindly guessing what 4 oz is?8/20:
