New WWE Divas champ Paige has revealed her proud mum and dad were reduced to tears by her historic title win and Raw debut this past Monday.

Parents Sweet Saraya and Ricky Knight are British wrestling veterans that have seen it all - but the enormity of their youngest child’s TV victory over AJ Lee left them bursting with emotion.

“Dad couldn’t say anything! He was silent but crying tears of joy,” Paige revealed to Mirror TV.

“Mum, however, couldn’t stop screaming!”

Paige also confirmed she has no intention of giving up her NXT Women’s title and concentrate on the company’s primary female championship.

“No way will I be vacating my NXT belt – I’m a double champion,” she said, almost as if she has to keep repeating the fact to convince herself that her dream has in fact come true.

It was good seeing Paige properly go for the first time last night (well, for me anyways). Would have even liked it if they had more time. Alicia Fox was awesome too and was really aggressive/physical with Paige. That submission finisher is AWESOME tho!

Well she's off to a good start. I read earlier that she impressed everyone with the way she conducted herself over WM weekend. Many WWE and NXT superstars were out partying while Paige stayed sober all weekend apparently and carried herself like a professional. The report stated she's been kept off the main roster so long because she's the youngest talent they have, yet her age and professionalism over WM weekend is the reason she got booked for RAW the other week. Girls been at this since she was 13, I'm sure she will do everything in her power to carry the division.


Just have to keep the male talent away from her lol, that's every diva's downfall.

Decent match against Aksana, though nothing special. Paige works a stiffer style compared to most women. Aksana cuts some generic promo about Paige being lucky and the other divas being jealous of her. All typical stuff. Tamina's backstage promo prior the match was also kind of meh.

I guess Aksana's spine buster is now a mid match move as apposed to a finisher, but nobody will really notice that since she's a routine jobber.

So far, not really that impressed with Paige's reign. No real development or feud going on.

Met Paige at Wrestlemania Axxess this year while in New Orleans. Pretty cool chick irl, very hnnggh in person.

Was a cheeky kunt m8 when she asked where I was from, said " ew so you must be an Emma fan huh?" and had a giggle. Got her signature on the basic grey Wrestlemania 30 shirt (plus a whole lot of others). Plan to frame that t shirt eventually with my ticket as a memento.
