wow rocking out on the guitar for the first time in years. Fingers are tore up. Can't believe how weak my hand strength and finger flexibility got.

EDIT: I am also alot fatter than previously and, as a result, so are my fingers making them more susceptible to calluses and making certain chords quite elusive (srs).

I've been playing guitar for over 25 years and mine didn't change when I started lifting. It feels like I've lost some dexterity/speed from gripping heavy weights several times a week but that's probably got a lot more to do with a lack of practice.

Look at John Petrucci. He's gone from being manorexic to looking pretty solid and it hasn't hurt his chops.

Dominik, I'm too tall and can't gain on bench as much as shorter lifters.

Manly, yes, your fingers are too fat, but it just depends on how many times you quit playing guitar, I'm guessing. The more times you quit, the more times your skin will get worn down, so stop trying to quit so much.

Yea the finger issue isn't lifting related as much as it is fat related. Lol i was shocked how simple f and d chords were so difficult lol I'll get used to it once I keep playing
