Batista has to turn now surely? I wanted a heel Batista to return so if that's what we get out of this I'll be happy.

Funny how badly WWE have botched his return though. First it's announced in advance so he doesn't get the huge surprise return pop he would've got if he returned at the Rumble, instead getting a mediocre one. Then he comes in late in the Rumble and barely does anything, and after almost 4 years out wins it. Which put a lot of people off him who were supporting/looking forward to seeing what he could do and to some fresh match ups.

So as well as further angering those who never wanted him back in the first place, only getting him a mild return pop in comparison to what a surprise Rumble pop could've been, AND ruining him as a face (which I'm admittedly happy about), they manage to piss off a lot of people who were interested or wanted to see him back to some extent anyway by shooting him straight up the roster for the spot of Rumble winner and Mania main-eventer.

Good stuff WWE!

lol this, people almost hurt themselves rushing to the defense of punk swinging at a fan, yet batista acknowledges a crowd burying him and everybody goes nuts about it.

What happened last night that was new or different? I don't see why anything that happened last night would change anyone's mind. Prior to last night, it was obvious DB was over with the fans who wanted a more prominent role for him. Last night was just more of the same.

Hopefully, they turn Dave heel after last night regardless. He's a fairly bland face, but a quite entertaining bad guy. WWE has a badguy shortage as I see it, so this would be good for them and for us.
