So I recieved my Converse All Stars today to wear while lifting + my belt, exited as hell to try em out on monday, during the last 3 months I have not missed a single day at the gym, doing my icecreamfitness 5x5, switching to the 3x5 for cutting for the next 3-8 months. The part I have been failing on is eating everything I get my hands on. I`ll try to change that and keep it in check.

Super excited for the next few months
I'm gonna visit my best friend who is in the military after this. I'm gonna talk
To a recruiter after this. I'm gonna shock my family after this. I just can't wait for the next three months. I've "practiced" the last few weeks and gotten in good habits of calorie counting, fighting cravings and getting my water. I'm in for the next three months. I'm going for a 35 pound goal which I think is doable but doesn't leave any room for mistakes. I'm pumped for this!!!---250lb+ only completion--

I'm gonna wait till the end of this 3
Month challenge to talk to one. I don't want them to blow me off, and I have the motivation myself to get there. I'm gonna make tape WAY before scale weight so I'm gonna hopefully be 24% by the end and go see them then. I can pass sit-ups and push-ups now with fly colors, I'm working on my run, my shins are screwed up right now. Soon as I get lighter and legs in shape I plan on focusing on run. My plan is to be in excellent shape for boot camp, maybe I can help some others on the road to get there. Thanks for the Pm---250lb+ only completion--

Mine is a strengthshop one, it was cheaper, but as I see you are in the US i reccomend you get an inzer forever lever belt it should be the best belt around, mine is 13mm, its pretty expensive around 100$ but well worth the money you spend on it.
Also I my starting stats on that dexa time so should be pretty accurate
Would like to be around 10% before I start my 5x5 again with a clean bulk, that scan was taken a few months ago im a few pounds heavier atm so starting weight is 242 and goal is @ >200 lbs so thats a 42 pound drop and it better be fat =DLast edited by outofmyhead; 02-01-2014 at 12:06 AM.

Its pretty graphic so watch @ your own discretion
It was done around the dexa before I got into my 5x5
Also added the dexa one again for good reference.
going to follow a 60f/250c/175p for the next 3 months and see where I get with it, should probably add some cardio, on the offdays aswell nothing extreme just an hour long walk along the seaside, while enjoying my audiobooks. Only problem is its -20c outside
And another reason besides looking/and feeling like a normal person for once is I want to buy a motorcycle in may and I want to be in a normal weight since the equipment is kind of expenive and theres no point in buying it for a hippo if i dont plan on staying that way.
So good luck everyone and GAME ON!Last edited by outofmyhead; 02-01-2014 at 12:34 AM.

Ok everyone, This thread is officially live! I look forward getting to know you all, hearing your stories, as well as you success and FAILURES. Yes, failures. If you read what i posted above, you know that it's part of the process. Also when you post about your failures, it makes those less hopeful realize that they needn't give up because things aren't going their way. They need to see that we are all human and we have laps in judgement and make bad choices. This is important because despite our shortcomings, we just keep it going and overcome in the end anyway. That said, Let me start off.
I'm in the Dec 1st - Feb 28th thread as well. I've not lost a single pound in the month of january. Well let me be honest. I lost all my holiday weight, but that was the sixth. Since then 0 lbs have come off. I actually gained a little from my outstanding birthday dinner. My issue is that i have NEVER lost weight in winter. My body is very very resilient to fat loss in winter. I know it sounds like BS, and you'll say i'm not eating in a small enough deficit, but i promise you when feburary leaves and the weather breaks, if i have this same diet i'll drop 3 lbs a week like it wasn't nothing.
I'm tired, hungry, and always freezing lol. The true signs of a winter cut. as silly as it is. But my goal is to defy the odds and lose at least 5-10 this winter. And i'm going to keep at it until i find the formula that works with my body this winter so i'll be in control. I've had 3-4 week stagnation in the past, even when i was in my 300s, but on that 5th week i wold be down like 5-7 lbs. SO i'm not at all upset. I'm just trying to figure out this stubborn body of mine. I've pmed a couple people with similar stats and my numbers are pretty much mirroring theirs so i know i'm not crazy. This should be fun nonetheless.
So, there is my failure, right off the bat. Obviously i'm going harder than ever in the gym, in a smart manner of course, and loving the numbers i'm pushing. So at least i can say my body cooperates with me in some aspects lol.
Good Luck everyone, and have fun. This the rest of your life we're talking about, not a means to an end.

Starting the challenge at 296.0. Started lifting the month and weight loss was slow. Finally read the stickies and calculated the calories and the macro-nutrients I needed. I was under-eating and not getting enough protein. Not only did changing that help me lose this week, but my energy levels have sky rocketed.
So read those stickies if you haven't!
Thanks for the motivation!
