My boyfriend is struggling to get his abs out. Can you please recommend something for him to do
He's not really calorie counting he's just eating clean no carbs except after a weights session. He's just completed 2 weeks with no carbs. Cheat meal once a week. Training 4 weight sessions and 2 days of cardio
He's just starting to do legs. Squats and leg extensions. Random abs no real routine. Tagged onto the end of a session
Any advice would be fab
Thanks

I can't say that I recommend the whole no carb thing. But, anyway... There's two things that I think would help him. Training abs with weights is one. It will make them pop more. The second is cardio. Cardio will help rid a lot of the subcutaneous water (between the skin and the muscle), and then the skin will look more tight against the abs. This will in turn, give him deeper ridges.
Some people go crazy on cardio, don't do that. Also, make sure that your cardio training and weight training are separate times of day for the best results with that.
Best of luck!-If you want to be a beast... you have to train like one.

It's all diet... It is definitely possible to get a six-pack without counting calories. I didn't count calories to get the to the shape I had on my avatar. All I did was to eat a lot of protein and don't be afraid to be hungry at times.
Just make him watch the scale so that he doesn't drop too fast. I think I went a bit too far with my diet and lost some strength because of it.
