How time flys.
Trying to lower carbs but I do love me carbs!
I will finish, but behind on where I wanted to be. Was hoping to hit 230 but my body seems to be VERY comfortable where its at atm.Used to be fat, now just fat with a lot of muscle.

Just got home from the Y, hit some back work, started out pretty good, but did not complete session as left forearm tightened up, and could not form a fist it caused so much pain. Still tender but feeling better. Sunday I was planning on hit back but had some guys asking me questions about supps and I was already on a tight schedule so I worked on some light DL's, just touching on form etc. Yesterday turned into an off day as we did not get home from our game till almost 9 as it was in a different city and I still had to get homework done with little kids. Nutrition has been holding pretty well, today carbs were up a little more than I planned.

Started the football season as a Wide Receiver (historically: OLine/DLine and a touch of LB)... in the game got to play as WR and Slot Receiver (preferred that)... next week due to missing/injured players, I was moved to Outside Linebacker (fck yeaaaaa!), and as of yesterday I was moved to Free Safety. I thought it was a joke because I'm not all that fast, but daaaaaaaang this should be fun! DEFENSE! DEFENSE! WOOOO!!
Point being: I'm getting better, faster, stronger, even if I don't look super awesome... yet... end of this month though... we'll see!! CMON FAT, MEEEEEEELT!BluePrint Believer!

Because of my shoulder injury and elbow tendonitis I'm following a program where I'm squatting everyday to a 1 RM, then doing 3 sets of three back off sets and then a few sets of 5 back off sets, alternating between back and front squats everyday. I've done this for just over a week now and am hitting 1RM PB's and Rep PBs! My squats are actually starting to improve after they dropped off quite a bit during the 12 week BB.com transformation challenge. Plus doing a couple of 5 km runs and a 10km run a week to keep my cardio up for the 10km run I have in a couple of weeks where I'm hoping to get under 50 minutes, as well as the obstacle course race I'm doing mid July which is a 10k course that I'm doing twice.

Yesterday's workout after slightly tearing or pulling my right hamstring a couple weeks ago:
Legs
Squats - 135x8, 225x5, 315x5, 345x5, 365x3
Hack Squat Machine - 240x8, 290x8, "21" w/ 150lbs
Lying Leg Curls - 125x15, 140x12, 155x10
1-Leg Extensions - 90x12, 110x10, 130x8
Seated Leg Curls - 130x15, 150x12, 150x12
Freemotion Calf Raise - 400x20x4, 400x15
Messed up the hamstring a couple weeks ago on my last exercise... lying leg curls. Unbelievable. I say slightly tore because I heard a loud ripping sound when it happened. Got me pretty nervous but now hoping it was a pulled muscle and the sound was just something else.

Killed it on chest/tri day! Maybe I have been breathing too much pure O2 here at work, but I could swear that I'm one bad dude right now!!!!!!
On a sad note, I have to work all day tomorrow ( as I did tonight ) so I won't be able to make it to the Dallas Europa Expo! Totally bummed about that!OBF 2014 Winter Transformation Challenge 4th Place finish...

Was a little bit bummed this past week thinking how we only have a little over a week left and I haven't reached the weight I wanted. Close but not there yet. I just keep reminding myself summer has not even begun yet and I will blow that goal out of the water. So I am happy.
On another note- I was driving home from the gym and there was a truck in the grocery store parking lot selling deserts from this one local company and they have the best apple caramel pies and there was a cute little kid holding a sign waving people over to buy pies. And I thought ya know I could always get one for next week after the comp. And then I looked at the little girl smiling and waving the sign and I said to myself, "get thee behind me Satan" and kept driving.
