Military press and volume squat day today. Just finished of the cals for the day with some sumptuous almonds..... Really wanted some rice but fats are low for the day. Grinding away, and hungry today. Oh well it's not going to kill me, it's just hunger.

Just got home from a late session, feeling beat down pretty good, arm has been killing me from all this throwing, not used to it! Today got my cardio in during a scrimmage game which I played with my team in, got home, hit the Y and it was packed. Was looking to get some arm work in, right from first set right arm was extremely sore. Worked through the following:
EZ Bar Wide Grip Curls:
Drop Set from 75/55/35
2 sets at 55lbs
EZ Bar Close Grip Curls:
Drop set from 75/55/35
2 sets at 55lbs
DB Curls:
4 sets w/ 35's
Super set w/
DB Hammer Curls:
4 sets w/ 25's
That was a wrap for the night, feeling some sinus issues kicking in so going to try and knock them out before they get to bad. Macros are a little off, may kick down some eggs before bed as I am a bit hungry.

I know what you mean. With 2 to 3 grandsons playing little league on Thursdays my day is full after I get off from work. I get off at 6 one or two starts at 6 the other at 8pm! All I have time for is get home and go straight to bed.
I get up at 4:30 for work and get ready for my shift.
Good luck with your team!!@EmmittSmith22: Circumstances may force you to change your short-term goals. That doesn't mean you can't stay focused on your long-term goals.

Had some great workouts the last few days, also a couple of late ones (well for me) at 7 and 9PM luckily I have my home gym in my garage.
Tuesday I did a hyper pull workout which included 440 LB deads for 3x5 and 90 minutes in total and then got up and 5:45 AM Wednesday and went for a 5.5 Mile run for my cardio.
Power legs day today.

Yea on Thursdays my cardio will be chasing our granddaughter. She don't like the stroller and for sure when Grandma is there she wont be in it. So I'll be following close behind to make sure
she don't go too far. Bad part is at the age of 1yr she acts like/well knows every thing already. Between that I try to watch a game or two.
Since I work Saturdays I miss all there games on that day. From pix and texts I see they sometimes are there from 8am to2pm some days, heck that's a job!@EmmittSmith22: Circumstances may force you to change your short-term goals. That doesn't mean you can't stay focused on your long-term goals.

I wanted to update my body fat numbers here on the site but just wanted to get a little "forum insight". I know a lot of people say don't get hung up on a number, but this is one that I'm tracking. If I have been strict on my diet and hitting the gym regularly ( 4-5 days a week ) and busting ass, as a general rule would I be safe in assuming I haven't LOST any lean mass or muscle? Just curious for your thoughts. I know what my lean mass weight was from my last body fat test ( water dunk method ) so I have been using that number in my calculations when I update the body fat percentage. I just don't want to give myself false info. The mobile dunk tank that I use to get my test done won't be back in this area for another month or so....
And if you guys remember, I think ( haven't scrolled back to see... ) I was the only fool dumb enough or brave enough to post progress pics here... you can toss that pic out because I am steadily progressing! I hope you boys are killing it, because I know I am!OBF 2014 Winter Transformation Challenge 4th Place finish...
Can't think of a good quote to put here.....

You would be safe in assuming you minimized lean losses. We train hard, keep up the intensity, and eat well. Exactly what happens with body composition and methods will vary a bit with the individual.
Fundamentally you do your best to insure you are training and eating well and track results, make adjustments over time.

On the subject of motivation, when Ronnie Coleman dropped by this thread... that was all the motivation I needed. Being in a middle of a tough journey, and all of a sudden, the person you look up to, stops by and graces us with his presence. That's definitely a highlight of this competition for me. Every time I feel lethargic or question my abilities, or look at food I'm not supposed to have.. I have this voice in the back of my head going YEEEEEEEEEEEAHHH BUDDDDDDDDDDDDY!!! It's a big kick in the butt for me personally. Aches, pains, lack of energy, boring meals, all that stuff just flies out of the window. The only thing on my mind is VICTORY.
