    On tuesday I slept for 16 hours. My body was completely run down. Now feeling 100% better!

    Thanks guys -- it's not really training related. Not being able to train is definitely putting a damper on my spirits though. At least my L-quad doesn't hurt all the time anymore. Just gotta be careful with the foot for a bit longer....

    Another great night in the gym, felt like a beast once again. Another PB on deadlifts. Other lifts felt light so I went heavier than in the past.... felt like I was at McDonalds because I'M LOVIN' IT!

    I think I'm going to revise my goals for this last 8 weeks of the comp.

    I always obsess SO MUCH about the scale weight and blah blah blah

    I'm going to focus on hitting my macros day in day out and how I actually LOOK in the mirror.

    I think that changing my mindset will do wonders for my overall well being and prep by default

    Physique goals for the next 8 weeks:

    Shrink my belly pouch (yuk) and lean out my upper things / butt. If i can do that, I'll be a happy OBF camper!

    Great goals. Slow deficit with regular, controlled weekly refeeds working well. Same goals, lose lower ab fat and glute fat. About 2-3 weeks ahead of last OBF comp on fat loss status with better definition from regular hard work.

    Summer is just around the corner. Almost April! Time to crank up the cardio.

    Another good back and bi workout last night. Managed to crank out 7 wide grip pull ups. Working towards working sets of 10. Almost there.

    Been doing lat pull downs with 200 lbs to get used to pulling up my body weight.

    Had a good day at the gym. Met with my trainer again to talk about my diet and progress. We did a caliper measurement and I came in at 18.6% body fat per the calipers. Sounds about right since a month or so ago I was 20.6% per the dunk tank. Made some adjustments to my caloric intake/macros. It's a nice feeling when doing the calipers he has to tell me twice to relax my quad and quit flexing.... I wasn't. I may not have huge, muscular quads, but there isn't much fat on them..... it's all on my gut! About that, he verified that my "decline in progression" is just I have loose skin now on my midsection. Says it will take time to shrink naturally but it will disappear if I keep up my pace.

    Great chest workout today, just complimented having to "bench press" my transmission in place last night. ( Installed a trans in my truck with no jacks or assistance.... sucked but was successful. )

    So last night I up my pr on dead lifts by 20lbs. I honestly think I can do more but have a level of fear blocking me from going higher. Has anyone else had this problem? How do you move past the fear factor?
