Went in today for a leg day. Felt great right out of the box but just felt flat as hell about half way thru the workout. I still pushed hard, gave it my all, but something seemed off. A few hours later, I could feel the soreness already building. Maybe I still made it a worthwhile effort... I hope.

Been a good week, cals have been easier to hit. Workouts were solid. And sleeping well again for first time in a month or so. Not sure why, but not wondering about it too much, just enjoying the rest.
Everything is really busy oh the home front with kids sports, and work is nuts. Still carving out my time in the gym to remain sane. Have a good weekend everybody. The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

Nice! Guess you are not at a place that has the "Lunk Alarm"
Can hardly wait for our oldest grandson to get a bit older since he is only 8, his parents don't want him to do weights till he older. Old myths die hard.
So now that the days are getting a little bit better, I told him we will do exercises out side, just using his weight to do pushups & squats. Guess he can hold a gallon jug of water to do squats.
It wont be like its weights, its only water...Wink wink. If I know grandma she will be watching and making sure that wont happen. but at least he will be active.@EmmittSmith22: Circumstances may force you to change your short-term goals. That doesn't mean you can't stay focused on your long-term goals.

Thanks guys.
Been a long term goal of mine to bench 225 for reps so almost there. Ill find out my next chest day how many reps I can do. Predicting 6-8 reps.
My overall goal is to bench 315 for a few reps (3-45lb plates each side). I don't think Im far off.
According to this
http://www.muscleandstrength.com/too...alculator.html
Your APPROX 1 rep max bench is 284.335
Maybe by end of OBF Ill bench 315

Weather here has been perfect. Got in a few hours yardio myself seeding the lawn, putting in the garden, and fixing things up in general. Been itching to get in a good hike but too much going on this weekend.
I'm ready for another go round too
Got the squat workout done tonight. Hard to make time this weekend but squeezed it in. 20 min on the bike to get loosened up, hips were tight. Then had to jump on the roller half way through, patella tendon was grumbling. Got it done. Seems like all I did was grocery shop, cook, and do dished the better part of the day. Had some good meals and a jump start on the week though. The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

Jumped on it, hope to be one of the chosen!
Had a great week in the gym last week, rolling right into another one with none other than....
LEG DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. My goals that I set late last year are within reach, just some continued hard work and I will reach them. I can't wait to see the look on some certain peoples faces when I reveal the new, bad ass me to world!OBF 2014 Winter Transformation Challenge 4th Place finish...
