Leg days drain me, and i do them twice per week. one day is more quad focused while other is hamstring. my lower back prevents me from moving heavyweights so i tend to pre exhaust.
my quads day i rotate between back squats, leg presses, hacks and front squats on a smith. i just feel better doing them on a smith. then ill take one of these movements and put it on hamstring day. ill normally do a front or back squat twice per week but the lighter day it will be 15-20 rep and at end of workout. ill rotate between leg extensions, lunges and one of my main 4. if its back squat heavier day ill then do higher rep leg press day.
hams day depends on how back is doing but i try to do romanian deads. i should try my sumos again but i need to feel 100%! then ill do some high foot position leg presses and a prone or seated leg curl. ill usually end with pull throughs. i also will hit the lower back more if i can with some hypers or back machine movements.
calves are done on both days.

Squats are my weakness because of mobility and past injuries.....it definitely takes a lot of skill and patience to hit squats right.
My wife has done tough mudder and she loved it. She didn't do much prep ahead of time, but she competes in crossfit so her cardio was already on point. She said it wasn't bad at all.For those that love to train!

Thanks for reminding me of the zinc! I got some zinc losages at home if I start getting a sore throat... right now I'm just in the full-body-sore mode... probably from lifting yesterday. Deadlifts and shoulders... PR all over those DB shoulder presses... ... I NEED TO GO TO PRACTICE TONIGHT! UGGGH
x2 lol
I'll be day dreaming of sleeping all day.... weird? haha
No lifting today... just running around at football practice for 1.5-2 hours...BluePrint Believer!

Finally got to the gym for the second time so far this week. Had to run to an event right after. Literally have had no time this week to do anything; haven't gotten any cardio in yet, just two lifts due to being so busy. Tuesday, Wednesday and Today I had to go straight from work to the firehouse. Literally out of the house early in the morning, back home late at night (or early in the AM). This is probably my earliest night being home this week... ha... and have to be up at 6am on Sunday for more drills. Ugh
