Those round digital xikar hydrometers are supposed to be +/- 1-2% of accuracy. That's why you cant adjust it. I have 2 of them and they are both consistent with my analog one i calibrated and the other digital one i have (different brand). i would go off the digital one.

Getting a good seal around the glass is pretty hard thing to do. That's why most no name and knock-off glass top humidors have issues.
The lower end humidor market is a crap shoot. Most will leak and have bad seals. However, of the lower end humidor market, Savoy makes the most consistent humidors. I have one and it works great. Plus they have great warranty and customer service.
Another tip, if one of the sides of the humidor is leaking, use some painters tape on the edges that are leaking. Don't overdo it though.
Use Heartfelt beads or kitty litter based on the RH you want.*** Misc CIGAR Crew ***

Those glasstops are known to be inconsistent but I wouldn't use an analog, they are notoriously inaccurate. What do you use to humidify? Foam? I would look into Boveda packs, and then see what your digital reads with a boveda pack to see how far off it is. As long as the cigars dont crack when you clip them it shouldn't be a big deal if they are a little dry, people store theres from 70+ to the low 60's.
Here in AZ I have to keep mine pretty dry because it's nearly impossible to keep the humidor under 70 degrees. And when you go outside the wrapper dries out but the interior is wet and smokes very weird.
I need to get a wineador.

Funny i happen to check this thread today. I have an inconsistent glasstop humi as well. In the spring, summer, and early fall it's fine. The relative humidity in the room is higher so it holds. However, in the winter, i can't get it to hold right. What I went ahead and did was take the whole humidor and place it in one of those big Ziploc bags. I actually leave the bag open and just have the whole humi in it. It's been between 68-71% for the last 3 weeks without having to refill the humidifiers.
It's not exactly aesthetic but it works. Next winter I'll consider upgrading to something nicer.
And on that note, actually managed to smoke two sticks in the last month.
Warlock, didn't like it that much. Inconsistent burn and draw. Seemed a little harsh.
Romeo y Julieta Maduro Reserve, loved it. Second one i've smoked. Great draw, great burn, very consistent."There are no victims, only volunteers. You volunteer by looking uncertain and afraid. Hard to tell if you don't know what to look for but on those the dead give away is the clear top box (Cohiba does not use these) and only 2 rows of dots above the word cohiba (Should be 3).
Generally at tropical destinations if it's not from duty free it's likely fake.If you want to be a man at night, you gotta be a man in the morning.

EDIT: From Duty Free's website in Turks...
"Turquoise Duty Free Shops is your one stop location for wine, liquor, champagne and cigars. Conveniently located in the Airport Departure lounge in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. We have the largest selection of liquor and you can easily make your final purchases just before your plane departs. We are open when your flight departs and US and Canadian residents returning from the Turks and Caicos Islands are allowed to bring home 2 liters of their choice of liquor, duty free! We also offer fine Cuban and Dominican Cigars."
With that being said....what cubans are better then others?** MISC CIGAR CREW **
