What Caucasian ethnicity has the most per capita in the league? I know most Caucasian players are mixed, but I'm just going to go off last names.

I think it probably goes in this order: Polish (Gronk, Tebow), Scottish (Johnson), Irish (brady, manning), German.

Generally I think Whites from West Slavic origins and Anglo-saxons make up most of the white NFL population.

You don't see many Spaniard, Italian, Greeks, French, Indian, Arab or Scandinavian Caucasian NFL players.

Lots of immigrants when they first came over anglicized their last names. Especially german/eastern block immigrants.

I wouldn't say most but a lot of people with last names that are also president's last names are black. iirc when they were brought over as slaves a lot didn't have last names that would translate into english, like at all. So a lot adopted the last names of current/former presidents. IE the reason there are a lot of black people with the last name Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Washington, etc. But they're also pretty common last names for white people.
