Just got my Orchid V2 clone and built my first dual coil setup. I only have a MVP so I can't go sub ohm but it hits like a truck @ 1 ohm, 11 watts, 3mg juice. Definitely getting a mod soon so I can crank that sh*t up

Just got started building my own coils. I only have an Aspire nautilus but 1.3 ohm coils with cotton are SO much better than the sh*tty coils and silicon they come with stock.

Now that I can build my own it's mod/RBA time baby

Anyone have any beginner tips on how to do this?.. or maybe a little "how to" on how to do it??.. I've got my nautilus aspire and I wanna learn how to make my own coils.

They're legit, but expect to wait at least 2 weeks if not longer for it to arrive. It has taken me a month to get things from them before and the customer service seems to really suck.

BTW - the tank looks awesome. Good reviews too. I got the actually box mod, it's small as hell and has been lasting all day at work.

I splurged and bought one. I already have a Provari Mini 2.5, but I rarely use it anymore. I've been strictly using the Vapor Shark DNA 30 the last few days. I was going to get the rDNA, but what sold me was the small form factor. For the size of the rDNA, I'll just get the Hana Modz Mini Clone from Fast Tech for 1/4th the price. But ohhh lawwwddd... The Vapor Shark + Russian = fuking pure heavenly bliss. It's so small and concealable and hit's like a champ. I can say I definitely like it BETTER than my Provari Mini and am getting longer battery life.

Go to like 5 minutes. This dude is kinda annoying, but you can see how small and good it vapes. BTW - that's the old version. The new one doesn't scratch like that anymore.

do you mean how to build coils specifically for an aspire nautilus tank?

if so, you'll need to buy a rebuildable coil for it

do you brahs ever worry about there being any negative sides from vaping? bunch of guys i work with have the vapes and they're always puffing on them, smells delicious man, but i have a hard time believeing that sucking down that very thick and aromatic vapor all day doesnt have some side effects on your lungs

You don't have to buy a rebuildable coil for the nautilus, plenty of tutorials on youtube about how to build a coil and place it in the pre-existing atty. All you need is kanthal, cotton, a small tube (screwdriver for example), and preferably a small blowtorch. I can crank out 1.2 ohm coils for that nautilus in about 2 minutes a piece using the stock setup but single coil instead of dual

my bad, i was under the impression that the steel mesh would burn out in the original nautilus coil but if you can replace it with kanthal that's fine

There's no steel mesh in the original coil, there's only the 2 coils, insulation sleeve, and filler. You can rip all of it out, toss in a fresh single coil with a short cotton wick and it works a treat

I don't think it's a bad deal at all, I've had both the Itaste VV & Egos and I prefer the ego..to each his own though. I agree piecing a kit together like you mentioned is a better deal but if he's looking for a convenient package with a decent bang for his buck I stand by what I suggested

Yup I agree to an extent as far as making it easier. But my no means does an ego come close to an iTaste IMO. The iTaste VV is the GOAT beginner battery. Egos are such garbage, but will get the job done - especially for a beginner. Check out GrimmGreen on YouTube regarding the iTaste. That dude is as about as knowledgeable as any vapor out there.



FYI - if some of you go the Ego route, get the Vision Spinner 2.
