Eats booty like groceries crew
Almost everything--all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure--these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.

Why? If you are going to take the time to rebuild buy something meant to be rebuilt. Pick up a kayfun
You don't need fancy tweezers brah. A pair from wally world work just fine.
I'd personally recommend a kayfun before getting an atty. My atty is nice, but it's annoying to have to make sure not to tip it over, and it have to refill it so often.

using a zenith v2 on it. It would look a bit wonky. Here's a vaporshark with a russian 91 on it:
I got this in a trade and it came in today. Anatolian mod with versa switches. I think they only made like 366 of these. Could have just been the first run though, not sure. Anyway, gonna try to sell it to recoup some cash.

Looks like a CE4 clearomizer on an eGo style battery. Decent, not poverty, but definitely not the best starter kit. You'll get the best vape and performance from bottom feeders that don't have to wick the juice up to an atomizer at the top.
This is the one I always recommend for beginners:

Looks like they do. From their site:

no idea, that isn't my picture.
I ordered a goddamn zenith clone that was supposed to be here yesterday and it still isn't here, tracking doesn't show it was ever shipped, but the ebay seller says it was. I've been with out a ****ing atty for like 5 days now and it's hard.***SCC***

So I have a Aspire Nautilus and it really seems to love to burn coils.... Ive had it for 2 weeks and went through 5 coils. Im running it at 8-10 watts max, why the fuk does it keep burning them?
Also what is the best rebuildable tank clone out there? Tired of buying new coils for $3 only to have them fry in 1-3 days.

Clone customers are going to bust nuts when they come in tomorrow

Thats whats preventing me from getting a nautilus too. I really want to try it out cause the reviews are great on it, but if it goes through coils like my pro tank(POS) did I can't be bothered. IMO rebuildables are GOAT, I'm in it to save money on top of the health factor.

New vape user checking in!
Got a vape (mechanical mod) last week. Things were going great, love my piece, juices are good, everything good.
Today I noticed I needed to change my cotton as it looked like it was turning quite dark and losing smooth pull.
I went to the local walgreens, got myself "studio beauty organic cotton balls".
Heard it's good to boil it to get rid of any additives so I got a big pot and boiled the little chits for a good 10-15 minutes.
I take it out, squeeze em dry, and proceed to set em into the coils like I saw the store guy do.
Applied my juice and took a hit....tastes like chit. There's this weird/burnt taste.
Where did I go wrong?
Pretty sure I put it into the coil correctly (not rocket science).
Couple things that come to mind as possibilities:
1. bought the wrong cotton
2. boiling it was a bad idea
3. maybe the pot wasn't completely clean and some sort of residue got mixed into the cotton
4. I didn't dry out the cotton enough
Help this noob out brahs.

take a few more hits and see if it goes away. cotton balls don't need to be boiled really, especially not organic ones. shouldnt hurt anything though. If you'd like, I can set up a tinychat (online video chat thing) room and walk you through some troubleshooting, how to wick your coils, etc.
also, quoting my pic from last page, Xone do you know anything about anatolians?

couple things regarding cotton
1, 3, and 4 are all a possibility
On boiling- a lot of cotton including organic can benefit from boiling. just have to make sure the pot is clean and your water isn't nasty. it definitely needs to be totally dry overnight sitting on towels or something.
there's really nothing special about organic cotton flavor wise and it can still taste like utter chit out of the bag depending on the brand (I have and use walgreens brand organic sometimes, it definitely needs to be boiled). organic gets hyped up a lot but just because it's organic doesn't mean it is cleaned, it just means it wasn't grown with pesticides or whatever...
the only standard cotton that is guaranteed to taste clean from the start is sterile cotton (CVS sells it). sterile cotton is sterilized/cleaned in an autoclave so it tastes best from the start. boiling cotton attempts to do the same thing but depending on various factors may not work as well.
