Great workout! The circuit style training is awesome, and it's okay that it's less weight than you are used to...it's a different type of training and you are working your body differently, it's good to change things up! And it sounds like it's working for you, very cool! I mentioned this on your wife's log, and I want to say to you too, it is just so awesome that you are doing this together! Keep on training strong!

Thank you I appreciate the encouragement. it's definitely is a different feeling with the light weight but man it's a serious burn on the last 2 sets. Workouts are good with my wife. we workout a few days together and when I have class my 15 year old works out with her. She's also doing this circuit with us.

Hey Spidey - welcome to the challenge. It's great you workout with your family. I use to lift with my son a lot - he is now 22 and has moved out on his own. I try to work out with him a couple times a month - sure do miss the days when I worked out with all the time

My goals for the next 90 days!
I turned 40 this past month and was a bit depressed that I hadn't reached any of my fitness goals that I had set forth last year. I'm not going to let that happen again. I plan on losing 50lbs the next 90 days! yes 50! Most will say this in unrealistic and I'm setting myself up for failure. I tell you I am not. For the first time I am completely focused on the exercises, necessary cardio and diet. I know I'm going to succeed because my family has joined me in this journey. My lovely wife is doing the Juggernaut challenge with me and my 15 year old daughter is doing the exercises with us along with one of my sisters. My youngest kids are getting in on the exercising in our home gym as well. We are all working together to make this happen. The long term reward in six months is a family trip to the beach conditional on Mom and Dad's beach bodies. So everyone is motivated! To accomplish this we are doing Joe Manganiello's workout from his new book Evolution. It's a circuit style workout using low weights and high reps. It's a lot different than what we are used to and we are loving it! And we are also using Infinite labs products to help us on our journey. Currently we are using Juggernaut HP Crimson punch preworkout drink. Ordering much more soon. 2014 I am Juggernaut is going to change my life! I guarantee it!

Monday Chest and Back Week 2
MONDAY: CHEST AND BACK week 2
Juggernaut HP Crimson Punch Pre-Workout drink
■ Dynamic Warm-Up
One-leg Lunges: 20 reps per leg
Squats: 15 reps
Push-ups: 15 reps
Side-to-side jumps: 30 seconds
Front-to-back jumps: 30 seconds
■ Circuit 1: This couplet set is performed with little or no rest
between each set until both exercises are completed. In order to
perform circuits correctly, progress through all the exercises and
then rest. For example, the first set will consist of 20 reps of
bench press followed by 20 reps of lat pull-downs, and then
you’ll rest. After that, I did 15 reps of bench press followed
by 15 reps of lat pull-downs—and then another period of rest.
I completed this for all sets of each exercise, rest, and then
moved on to the next circuit. This is the strategy applied for
all circuits (Unless otherwise noted)
Barbell Bench Press: sets of 20, 15, 12, 10, 5, 8, and 16
reps; 95lbs
Lat Pull-Down with Wide Pronated Grip: sets of 20, 15,
12, 10, 5, 8, and 16 reps 90 & 110lbs.
Rest 50 seconds and then repeat circuit, performing a total of 7
sets each of bench press and lat pull-downs.
■ Circuit 2: This couplet set is performed with little or no rest
between each set until both exercises are completed.
Dumbbell Incline Press: 12 to 15 reps; 40lbs
One-Arm Dumbbell Row with Neutral Grip: 10 to 12 reps
each arm. 40lbs had a lot of trouble last week with this because my left arm was too weak. Was able to do them all with less strain this week.
Rest 50 seconds and then repeat circuit. Did this 4 times.
■ Circuit 3: This couplet set is performed with little or no rest
between each set until both exercises are completed.
Pec Deck: 10 reps; 110 & 120lbs.
Low Row with Narrow Neutral Grip: 10 reps; 90lbs
Rest 50 seconds and then repeat circuit. Did this 4 times.
After workout I did 20 minutes medium intensity cardio on stationary bike.
Wow am I tired!"You can't stop the Unstoppable!" JUGGERNAUT!!
