    Do you guys care about weekly or daily calories?

    For example; I'm on a calorie deficit diet, I hit my macros/calories and meals everyday. Sometimes I get busy and miss a meal, so what I usually do; I add that missed meal to my meals for tomorrow.

    What you guys do? thoughts?

    I go with the same idea as cls. I just make sure to hit my weekly average, but try to stick as close as possible to my daily goals.

    I am more conscious of weekly net.

    My daily intake can fluctuate daily based on hunger, schedule and preference.

    Also I like to save calories for weekends as my activity and intake increase dramatically.

    I try and hit my daily numbers, but if I miss some calories I make them up the next meal, I average them weekly

    I don’t trust myself to work off weekly macros. Doing it daily keeps me honest. If I went off weekly, I'd probably end up with very few calories on the last few days. In before brb willpower. I have an unnatural appetite.

    So daily but I'm sure weekly makes sense for the vast majority of people.

    Whether on IF or not, as far as my TDEE goes and in keeping with not trying to blow up into obesity, I am never full.

    Edit: Always been a big eater. Got up to 260lbs (was obese) at 6' in high school even while playing football. Could consume 8-10k a day easy forever.

    Mostly go by daily since it's easy to lose track over the week, but I do keep the grand scheme of things in mind and don't stress about one day being off.
