Yep, although it happens with every club, the band wagon fans come out in full force. I cringe and laugh when I see my news feed blow up about the Roosters when they're winning and doing well yet I've never seen any of them at a game or talk about them previously etc.
Looks about right but I'm not convinced with the Roosters as to where they're going to finish... I really have no idea how they will play now coming into the finals. The frustrating thing is, is that they have the worst completion rate in the NRL yet they have one of the best attacks in the comp and are up there with most points scored and they are still sitting in 4th giving how up and down they've been playing all year, can you imagine if they had the best completions or up there with the other top teams, they would almost be unstoppable if they could get it together.
Oh well keen for the finals!
As much as I love the Roosters I agree here, IF they beat the Tigers this weekend they will def finish top 8 on 30 points, but I can seriously see them losing their next 3 games against the Warriors, Storm and Rabbitohs, especially if they don't pick up their game and start playing footy at the level that they can and should be.
That's awesome man, I hope they show the rest of the seasons games and the finals series, finals footy is incredible.

Yeah I hope so! They really don't show rugby that much here in America. So when a game does come on I'm like, "oh sh*t! Let me watch this game!"

Last year and years prior I did. I live in an AFL state (different sport) though so I've mostly played that. Came runners up in state finals once before in rugby though.

Freak of an athlete and IMO he already has one hand on the title of immortal.

He has dominated the centre position and right now he is easily the best fullback in the game. His play making abilities are impeccable, size of and runs like a forward, fast as a wing... definitely a once in a life time type of player.

Still apart from last week where we got ripped of against the Knights, we have been in great form.

Beat you guys twice this season , beat the Rabbitohs, Beat the Panthers. Beating top teams is no problem.

Agreed, I can't remember seeing a more dominant ball runner with his skills, not to mention his defense is unbelievable at times, especially one on one, he reminds me of Matt Sing with the try's he has saved.

At no point does it look like he has any right to get past the 2nd/3rd/4th etc tackles at all and his running looks almost lazy/casual. A beast of a man.

I don't get it, on paper the Warriors line up is pretty good (Tomkins, Hurrell, Vatuvei, Johnson, Friend etc) but they can never seem to break into the top 5-6.

Lol at Gallen having a whinge about this "ruining his reputation". I bet it was all 'hard work' that he suddenly turned into an 80-minute origin prop making 200+ meters in the space of one off season. He'll probably agree to some ludicrous deal where he can play rep footy, but is banned from Cronulla for two years (it's not like he plays club footy much anyway, so this will probably suit him).

No surprises really though. Let the drama run its course then return to watching footy, unless you're out there competing with people on heaps of gear and being at an unfair advantage, all the stuff they take is helping them cope with the intensity of top tier rugby.

Would you really refuse a cycle of "Geee Heytch" if it meant you could recover from a hammy tear/other injury in half the time one normally would, taking into account that your place in the squad and your career was at stake?

I don't advocate the use of it but it's daft to be angry about it when 90% of players are involved.
